Sam Ryan is fabulous!

Like Part 5 before it, Twisted Passions 6 takes time out from participation in Girlfriends Films portmanteau series titled "Thornhill Diaries" and is instead a wonderful stand-alone dramatic feature. The label usually coasts along on its time-tested (and web streaming-friendly) sex vignette formula, but these long form experiments are definitely rewarding.

Sam Ryan plays a piano teacher, and the show opens with her playing a classical piece on her 88s live on video with great skill. Girlfriends lets her show her talent from time to time and this is one of her better showcases, which combines with her acting ability to make one seriously wonder why she has never crossed over into mainstream cinema. (I suspect the prejudice against employing XXX players in anything but horror or softcore sex movies has something to do with it.)

She ends up recruiting several young girls into finding more youngsters for her to teach, and of course it is Sam's prowess as a Sapphic sexual mentor that is the true draw in addition to music lessons.

This brings her into conflict with buxom blonde Abbey Brooks, who it turns out was once a piano teacher herself, who taught Sam a whole lot. Abbey is currently the mother figure to Allie Haze (implied incest is often lurking in a Girlfriends story line), with Allie the cause of friction between the two.

Acting is excellent down the line in this show, with a special pleasure here to see Abbey as a real character, rather than her usual assignment as gonzo sex object. In fact, one of her only other feature assignments was in Girlfriends' "Imperfect Angels 5", in that one having sisterly sex with Sam Ryan,
