DOUBLE CROSSED is a straight-to-video action thriller that suffers from a very low budget and lack of talent behind the scenes. The film's trappings are fine, it's the fact that it simply looks cheap and amateurish throughout that makes it a chore to sit through. At least it's keeping old-time actors Miguel A. Nunez Jr. and Ric Young in work. The film features a lot of gun fetish scenes, some bikini babes, blaxploitation elements, and lots of suited gangsters. It's all so heavily borrowed from Hollywood that you do end up wondering why they bothered.
