This was a lovely short animation. I liked it a lot, mostly because of the cute and beautifully made animation style, which made a very pleasant use of CGI.
Even When the plot could be considered as something way too simple, it was still something very enjoyable to watch, being a cute animation with lots of visual originality despite being quite brief.
In my opinion, "L'inventeur" is a quite underrated animation, which deserved more appreciation. Even if the plot from it isn't very "deep" or "meaningful", it was a pretty well made work, with a high quality animation, endearing characters and a nice story. Also the music from this short was pretty good, too.
