Family psychologist Sergey Vasnetsov is in trouble. His wife left him with their five daughters--and his mother-in-law. Eldest daughter Masha is a breezy fashionista, second daughter Darya is a goth, third daughter Evgeniya is an athlete, fourth daughter Galina is an A student, and youngest daughter Polina, nicknamed "Pugovka," is the cute little baby. All are very noisy; none of them know how to cook or clean. On top of that, lately Vasnetsov has no luck with clients.

Learning that Dasha likes to go to goth parties with her friends Pauk (Spider) and Cherep (Skull), Vasnetsov tries to understand her passion and as a result almost fails the psychotherapy session with Oksana. Meanwhile, Masha and Zhenya are changing roles to try to get to know each other better: they go to football and then to the club together for the first time.

The Vasnetsov family has love drama: Zhenya starts an affair with classmate Vova, and her father is in love with his client. But both relationships could be destroyed because Zhenya is leaving for a sports board in a month, and Oksana and her husband are leaving for London--maybe for always.

Vasnetsov wants to abandon so-called "children therapy" and to confess to Oksana that he lied to her; Vasiliy insists that the sessions continue. While Sergey and Antonov try to cope all day with the secretary's dog who won't let them leave the office, Vasnetsov's mother comes to see her granddaughters, and the two grandmas compete for the girls' affections. The next day Oksana learns that children therapy is a complete deception and becomes angry with Vasnetsov.

When the girls learn that Dad deceived everyone by inventing children therapy, they boycott him; later they worry and reconsider. Sergey is afraid to go home and stays up late at work. Grandma makes the girls each swallow one garlic clove a day, but they discover a remedy that's much tastier--and helps better in the prevention of influenza.

Galina Sergeyevna's classmates give her an insulting nickname and she tries various unsuccessful methods to get rid of it; Sergey tries to get Oksana's forgiveness for his involuntary deception and also deals with angry clients who threatened to avenge that he advised him in everything and always tell the truth.

Seeing Vasnetsov's hesitation towards Oksana, Antonov decides to date her and gives her a chic bouquet. Meanwhile, the school is experimenting: a leadership class will be formed from the best students of the 10th grade. Will Dasha and Polezhaykin now learn separately from Galina Sergeyevna?
