One of the best, most compelling characters in the Sons of Anarchy mythology was always Marcus Alvarez. Then Mayans M. C. came to be and Marcus Alvarez stepped down and anointed the Three Kings. LAME! From the moment Emilio Rivera walked on screen and said "this is my F#CKING CLUB!" I knew season 4 was going to be the best! The man commands & demands respect! And he's got mine! Marcus Alvarez is back! The only direction we can go from here is up! Thank you Elgin & thank you Emilio!

The story telling of this episode was marvelous. We saw a Mayan civil war aftermath, Tensions between and Ez and his pop, Neron expressing his feelings, Bishop's insecurity, Angel accepting his past, Gilly and coco's strange friendship, Alvarez & Tranq's meeting. If we think about it, covering so many story angels is real difficult. Good job Mayans team.
Soundtrack of a tween drama

I really want to like this show. A drama following the exploits of a Mexican biker gang roaming the badlands around El Centro sounds so cool. But this isn't a biker drama. It's a soap opera starring an underwear model who dresses like a biker.
The soundtrack gives it says it all. It sounds like the tracks were selected by a 12 year-old girl who just broke up with her boyfriend. And the music playing in the clubhouse? Just what you'd expect to hear when you enter a room full of Mexican bikers... sissy pop rock and female acoustic guitar folk songs. It sounds like they're at a pre-party for a Lilith Fair concert. Total disconnect from the edgy image the commercials portray. The sad thing is Coco was a legit rapper (Baby Jokes). They should use some of his music.
