Veteran's Crisis Line
HelloBlockbuster7 March 2022
Story line has some merit and insight to how we think; however, I'm not sure many of us would lie. Let alone lie to merely save face for the deceased (and death benefits for spouse/child, which weren't mentioned), especially not if doing so would mean going to prison for 50yrs. It's a far-fetched story line, given "the code". Most would think bigger picture, meaning speaking out against stigma of seeking mental treatment to help others rather than hide it to protect one person's memory.

I digress, good for Hollywood, just please don't think this is reality.

That said, what is reality is the Veteran's Crisis Line. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE THE VETERAN IN CRISIS TO CALL. I am a veteran and had a veteran friend who I called on his behalf. Any person who believes a veteran is in crisis can call this number. 1-800-273-8255, option 1. Available 24/7. Veterans are often incapable of handling such a call for their own benefit-DO NOT BE AFRAID OF CALLING FOR THEM.
