When I was at the European Weekend of Horrors last year, those friendly German gore-hounds responsible for indie horror 'Schlaraffenhaus' were kind enough to give me a free copy of Kadaver on DVD. It's a much earlier effort from Schlaraffenhaus's director Marcel Walz, with none of the polish or professionalism of his most recent film, but just about enough enthusiastic splatter to make it a reasonable enough time-waster, providing you don't mind your horror of a distinctly home-made nature.
Even though I couldn't understand 99.99% of the dialogue (I think I heard 'Ghostbusters' being mentioned, which accounts for the 0.01%), I don't think it made a lot of difference to my level of enjoyment. As far as I could make out, the plot is your standard 'teens slaughtered in the woods by a crazed killer(s) with a bag on his head' scenario, which allows for a fair smattering of crude but fun bloodletting (unconvincing disembowellings, a severed arm with spurting stump, some machete mayhem, an impalement, an axe in the head etc) and some welcome scenes of pretty blonde camper Susanna (Sabrina Brencher) running through the woods in a tight vest.
