I liked the first couple of seasons, the concept was interesting, the technology was well integrated within the story, progression was consistent, but more than anything it was somewhat believable (to the degree you'd expect from SciFi).
That new season is breaking all of that. Jokes mostly don't work. The story is somehow not progressing naturally anymore, making big jumps forward. It feels rushed Characters are not believable, borderline stupid, overacting on any account. It's full of very obvious tropes and shortcuts, manufactured tension, I kept rolling my eyes until I stopped watching altogether, given how painful it was.
I don't know what really changed from one season to the next. It's almost as if producers regretted their investment and tried to fast-track it to the bin.
