This short story is unbelievably moving and charming. The story pulls on your heart strings, yet leaves an optimistic world view in its wake. The acting is truly emotive, and quite frankly beautiful. However, the area in which this film truly shines is the soundtrack. The score is beautifully composed and dare I say perfect. The theme is more than worthy of its award win and should have won far more. I loved the commentary of LGBTQ+ issues. The representation is displayed was truly moving, as the film portrays them as simply a normal pair. Overall, the film is a masterpiece in cinema and should be studied.
