Not a fan of the 3 way knock out rounds at all! It doesn't allow for talent to have multiple attempts in the knockouts. Coaches have to eliminate 2 out of 3 voices per round. This isn't fair to the coaches or talent! Please bring back 1 on 1 knockouts. There's got to be other way to attempt to boost ratings and make things more interesting. Bonus rounds, back to back knockouts? I don't know, just please fix this decision.
Also not sure what the deal is with the extra fluff time on just the judges. I understand the banter and friendly competition is part of the show, but it feels super awkward and forced this season. Perhaps they should look at bringing back the friendly competition and actual judging on their coaching sessions with the singers. It seems like they don't really coach their team anymore, or at least some judges don't. I'm optimistic that next season might turn around, otherwise I think I might need to stop watching this show.
