Davey is reminded by his father of the time he wandered off and got lost inside a cave.
Even though this is the first episode broadcast, there is no real introduction or explanation of the characters. Young boy Davey Hansen has a talking dog named Goliath (he only talks to Davey). Davey has a mother and father and little sister Sally. It starts off with Davey playing with a toy airplane. Funniest scene is when Sally wants to give Goliath some cookies she made, he tells Davey they are harder than dog biscuits. We then go to a flashback of when the family was on a tour through a cave. Davey and Goliath are stuck down a steep crevice. The lesson they learn is God cares for all of us and will look after us.
