Ostensibly a big-screen reboot of the 1980s television series of the same name, “The Fall Guy” is actually director and former stunt performer David Leitch’s love letter to both his wife, producer Kelly McCormick, and the undersung art of stunt work — only not always in that order.
Working closely with screenwriter and executive producer Drew Pearce, who previously scripted his “Fast and the Furious” spinoff “Hobbs & Shaw,” Leitch creates a clearinghouse of gobsmacking stunts (some truly record-breaking) while chronicling the tumultuous relationship between veteran stunt man Colt Seavers (Ryan Gosling) and first-time director Jody Moreno (Emily Blunt). It’s quick-witted (and quick-footed) fun that bridges multiple generations of Hollywood moviemaking, melding together rom-coms and bombastic action into one blockbuster package.
Since making his screenwriting debut on Shane Black’s “Iron Man 3,” Pearce has developed an aptitude for conceiving stories that maintain a singular yet cohesive tonal balance.

Exclusive: Outlier Society is developing the Amazon MGM Studios action thriller movie, T-Minus, which is being co-scripted by Fall Guy‘s Drew Pearce and Watchmen and Station Eleven scribe Nick Cuse.
Outlier Society’s Michael B. Jordan and Elizabeth Raposo will produce with Pearce who is producing via his Point of No Return Films and Isa Dick Hackett via Electric Shepherd Productions.
Pearce
The project was initially developed by Pearce’s banner Point of No Return Films. Outlier Society’s Elizabeth Raposo heard the pitch—said to be an action-thriller along the lines of “Top Gun meets Back to the Future, with a Philip K. Dick twist”—and saw the potential for it to be the perfect Outlier project: an elevated piece with major tentpole potential.
While plot details are being kept under wraps, T-Minus will be adapted from the Philip K. Dick sci-fi 1974 short story A Little Something for Us Tempunauts.

Upon her introduction in Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Isla Faust quickly became a fan-favourite character, but she sadly made her exit in last year’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning. During an episode of WrapWomen’s Unwrapped podcast, Rebecca Ferguson explained why the time was right to leave the Mission: Impossible franchise.
“To speak very clearly — because I know a lot of people are sad about it, I’m sad about it — I had filmed three films. My deal was done,” Ferguson explained. “And I love her beyond words. Beyond words. I think she’s the most awesome, fantastic character.“
However, the actress explained that there was an offer on the table for her to return for Mission: Impossible 8, but she decided that she didn’t want Isla to become too much of a team player. “And we all can want different things, but for me, Ilsa was rogue,...

As last year’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning (which has dropped the “Part One” subtitle since it hit home video) wrapped up, we saw that Tom Cruise’s Imf agent lead character Ethan Hunt would live to run another day – and pictures from the set of Mission: Impossible 8 (which won’t be called Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two after all) show him doing just that! Cruise running is a big part of these movies and his overall career, so it’s nice to see that Mission: Impossible 8 will indeed have him moving across the screen as fast as his legs can carry him. There’s even some video from the set as well, if you want to see this run in action.

Rebecca Ferguson gained worldwide recognition in 2013 when she starred as Elizabeth Woodville (Queen Elizabeth) in the BBC miniseries The White Queen. Her portrayal earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Miniseries or TV Movie.
However, Ferguson’s big break in Hollywood came with the 2015 action thriller Mission: Impossible—Rogue Nation. She played the role of former intelligence operative Ilsa Faust alongside Tom Cruise. Her performance earned her critical acclaim.

Five years have gone by since Tom Cruise announced that Paramount Pictures had given the greenlight to two more Mission: Impossible movies, with Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (2015) and Mission: Impossible – Fallout (2018) writer/director Christopher McQuarrie returning to the helm. At one point, we thought these movies were going to carry the titles Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One and Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two… but Paramount is backtracking from that decision. After Dead Reckoning Part One underwhelmed at the box office when it was released last year, the studio has dropped Part One from the subtitle and has let it be known that the next film, which is still in production, will have a different title. A decision they really should have made before releasing the first half of the story. At least we’re still getting the second half of the story, with the...

With the ensemble cast featuring stars like Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Austin Butler, and Anya Taylor-Joy, Dune: Part Two is an adventurous cinematic experience. In a time where the number of cinema-goers is diminishing, it is also a gamble that only big studios like Warner Bros. can play. And so far it seems that WB has been dealt a great hand.
The film is enthralling. However, it wasn’t just the viewers and fans of the novels who were taken aback by the surprising bits. Self-admittedly, there’s someone on the cast who didn’t know certain things about the film until they saw it. Rebecca Ferguson talked about her experience watching the film on the red carpet of its premiere.

A new rumor regarding Rebecca Ferguson’s character from Mission Impossible has been making the rounds on the internet. And unlike most rumors, it is about a topic that has been publically discussed and even reported on extensively: Why did Ilsa Faust have to die in the Mission Impossible franchise?
Ethan Hunt and Ilsa Faust
Rebecca Ferguson played the character of Ilsa Faust from Mission: Impossible- Rogue Nation to Mission: Impossible- Dead Reckoning Part 1, in which she was killed. While the reason for the choice has been made public, a new rumor has been circulating, potentially pointing towards some behind-the-scenes drama that could have caused Ferguson to lose the role, rather than Faust’s death being a narrative necessity.

Whether it may be being part of an insane psychologically-charged drama or a packed-to-the-walls action film with none other than Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson can be said to have developed an iron heart and mind to take on challenges that might look crazy to many. I’m told he will be represented by Matt Galsor at Greenberg Glusker. He is the attorney for Tom Cruise, with whom McQuarrie has been a regular collaborator on the Mission: Impossible blockbuster films.
This is a shocker reverberating around town. It sounds like McQuarrie has a lot of his runway lit going into the future; among other things, he is producing the outer space movie that Cruise and director Doug Liman are planning with Universal, NASA and Space X. I understand there wasn’t a lot of drama here in the conveyance of the exit, but if McQuarrie has his dance card set far into the future, it certainly seems like he will be saving a lot of money in commissions. In a very expensive mix-up, Tom Hollander was once sent a ‘seven figure’ Spider-Man bonus payment intended for Tom Holland, the actor reveals.

James Cameron confirmed today that he and Kate Winslet are working together again on Avatar 3, the third film in the director’s $5 billion-and-counting franchise. Cameron recently said the project’s post production schedule was “hectic,” but the film is due out “Christmas of ’25.”
Cameron said in an interview with People that Winslet will once again play Ronal. While Winslet’s involvement in Avatar: The Way of Water was relatively minimal, it sounds like she will have more to do in the third film.
The director said Winslet “went to school” with a real-life shaman to learn more about she will employ in the 2025 release.
“When you see her doing that purification ritual to try to revive Kitty in the film and some of the stuff that she’s going to do in movie three, that’s based on actual practice,” he said.

Every actor brings specific expectations to their projects. If you're starring in a superhero film, you might hope to wear a nifty costume or perhaps do some scenery-chewing as a diabolical villain. If you're in a monster movie, you might hope to be one of the final survivors or, if not that, then someone who gets taken out in a gloriously shocking manner on par with Samuel L. Jackson's infamous demise in "Deep Blue Sea." And if you're in a Western, you're undoubtedly going to hope that you get to wear a ten-gallon hat and do some horseback riding.
Tragically, Wes Bentley hasn't exactly gotten to put his horsemanship skills to the test as Jamie Dutton on Taylor Sheridan's immensely popular neo-Western series, "Yellowstone." Christopher McQuarrie's 2015 film "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" is arguably the best film in the series. Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) was getting a little older and was considered decreasingly trustworthy by his sour-faced bosses at the Impossible Missions Force. "Rogue Nation" saw him tracking down the identities of a rogue nation of ex-spies who were secretly working together to, essentially, destroy the world. Complicating matters, however, was a mysterious free agent named Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson) who had to commit secret spy shenanigans for her own reasons. Like "Mad Max: Fury Road" from the same year, "Rogue Nation" not only upped the voltage on the action but shifted focus away from the central male character, placing it instead on a much more interesting and capable woman.

After taking over the reins of the "Mission: Impossible" franchise, director Chris McQuarrie quickly put his own stamp on the series. From 2015's "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" to 2023's "Dead Reckoning Part One," McQuarrie's take on the series has brought it back to its roots in creating heightened, suspenseful espionage scenarios. It's also made the movies even bigger.
The stunts of Ethan Hunt are one aspect in which the series has to consistently top itself. But for McQuarrie, it's also important that each movie embraces a different kind of spectacular filmmaking, something spontaneous and creative that goes beyond simple James Bond-esque globetrotting gunfights and car chases. Because of that impulse, he might have gone too far with a scene in 2018's "Mission: Impossible - Fallout," which is probably why it didn't make the final cut.
The scene in question would have involved the introduction of Alanna Mitsopolis (Vanessa Kirby), or the White Widow,...

Ever since Christopher McQuarrie took over writing and directing the "Mission: Impossible" franchise, you will oftentimes see characters confronted with a problem that needs solving, and they will deliver a line like, "I'm working on it" or "I'll figure it out." One of my favorite instances of this is in "Fallout" after the exceptional bathroom fight scene. Rebecca Ferguson's Ilsa says to Tom Cruise's Ethan, "You don't understand what you're involved in," and he responds with, "I don't understand what I'm involved in? I don't understand what I'm involved in? (long pause) What am I involved in?"
Ethan Hunt and his fellow I.M.F. agents are also problem-solving in real time. They never have all the information, never have all the context, and never have a foolproof plan. Stuff is always going wrong, be it technology failing or someone double-crossing them. All of those spectacular Tom Cruise...

In July, Tom Cruise‘s latest foray as Ethan Hunt, “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One” crashed into movie theaters like a runaway train, taking advantage of the fact it could get premium formats before the unstoppable “Barbenheimer” was unleashed.
Much of the narrative following “Dead Reckoning’s” opening weekend of $54.7 million is that it wasn’t performing up to spec, though one has to remember that it made another $23.8 million before the weekend for a five-day opening of $78.5 million. Although the weekend part was lower than the $61.2 million the previous “Mission: Impossible – Fallout” opened with in 2018, it was more than every previous “Mission: Impossible” movie.

Major Spoiler for Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. Consider yourself warned. The latest Mission: Impossible sequel is filled to the brim with all the death-defying stunts, spy craft, and high-stakes drama we’ve come to expect from the franchise, but it also bid farewell to one of its more memorable characters.
Related Tom Cruise and Christopher McQuarrie’s “gnarly” R-rated movie is planned for post-Dead Reckoning Part Two
If you’re still with us, you know that the major spoiler involves Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson) meeting her end in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning. Tom Cruise has become renowned for his death-defying stunts in the "Mission: Impossible" movies. In the recent film, "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One," Cruise rode a motorcycle off a cliff. In "Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol," he scaled the side of the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. And in "Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation," he clung to the side of a plane as it took off and flew 5,000 feet into the air. It's jaw-dropping stuff, and it remains a bit bonkers that Cruise keeps doing things like this for our entertainment. What drives him? What gives him the confidence to do all of these dangerous things? And what's he going to do next?
Of course, it's worth noting that Cruise isn't doing all of these things willy-nilly. They're planned out, and safety precautions are taken to help ensure the megastar doesn't end up dying during filming.

We love the "Mission: Impossible" movies, don't we folks? These globe-trotting, death-defying adventures get bigger and better with each installment. At the center of each entry is Ethan Hunt, played by stuntman/actor Tom Cruise. Ethan is our guide into the world of the Imf and their various missions, but he can't do it all by himself. He has a team to back him up, and while the team has changed over the years, there's a core group that stays the same.
There's Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell, a hacker turned Imf agent. There's Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn, who started off working in a lab and eventually became a field agent. Then there's Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), a former MI6 agent who has more or less joined the Imf due to her friendship with Ethan. There are more team members scattered over the various films, but this is the core group,...

Christopher McQuarrie, the director of the recently released Tom Cruise-starrer actioner ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’, has promised epic underwater scenes in the next edition of the film.
The 54-year-old director and action hero Tom Cruise have spent time working out how to perfect underwater sequences after using them in previous movies ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ and ‘Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation’ and says they will be taken to the next level when the next film in the long-running franchise is released next year, reports Female First UK.
Christopher told Collider, “Tom and I are constantly re-evaluating our own work and asking ourselves how we could have done it better. We’ve done underwater in ‘Edge of Tomorrow’, and we worked underwater in ‘Rogue Nation’, and we left very dissatisfied with those sequences.”
The filmmaker continued: “And we analyse why we were dissatisfied. What were all the factors working against us?...

The following contains major spoilers for "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One."
In "Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation," director Christopher McQuarrie introduced Ilsa Faust, a smart, sexy, highly capable spy playing all angles. As played by Rebecca Ferguson, Ilsa became something of a revelation to the franchise — someone who could go toe to toe with Ethan Hunt. In fact, she was so effective that she returned for not one but two sequels, which isn't exactly common for this series (outside of the ever-present Ving Rhames). Ilsa quickly became a fan favorite, thanks to how complex the character was written, how much she kicked ass, and Ferguson's compelling, sleek performance. In short, Ilsa was a great character.
And then "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One" went and killed her off.

Spoiler Alert: This story contains spoilers from “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One,” now playing in theaters.
The “Mission: Impossible” movies have no shortage of death-defying stunts, but the Tom Cruise-starring action franchise is known for another iconic magic trick: its mask reveals.
“Dead Reckoning Part One” features two mask reveals — in the first, Cruise’s Ethan Hunt uses a mask to infiltrate a meeting between CIA director Eugene Kittridge (Henry Czerny) and officials from various intelligence agencies about a rogue artificial intelligence system, known as the Entity. The other is a face swap between Hayley Atwell’s Grace, a pickpocket who becomes embroiled in Imf’s hunt for the Entity, and Vanessa Kirby’s black-market arms dealer Alanna Mitsopolis, aka the White Widow.
“It was so much fun. It was the first time two women have got to do that,” Kirby told Variety on the red carpet...

Tom Cruise failed to do the seemingly impossible in China over the weekend: Revive Hollywood’s former box office muscle at the world’s second-biggest theatrical movie market.
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One badly lost its opening weekend in China, debuting in third place behind a pair of holdover Chinese hits.
The Paramount and Skydance sequel opened to just $25.9 million from Friday to Sunday, a steep tumble from Mission: Impossible Fallout‘s $76 million opening back in 2018. Chinese martial arts drama Never Say Never, meanwhile, earned $46.1 million, followed by local animation hit Chang An with $43.9 million.
Never Say Never, written and directed by local comedy favorite Wang Baoqiang (Lost in Thailand, Detective Chinatown), has brought in a healthy $211.5 million since its July 6 opening. Chang An, the latest release from pioneering Beijing-based animation studio Light Chaser, launched July 8 and has a current total of $96.1 million.

This weekend sees only one major new release, but its a big one! One year after Tom Cruise came barreling back to theaters and saved the movie industry as we know it, he is back again to save it from a summer of unexpected box office bombs with Mission: Impossible- Dead Reckoning Part One.
We do have a bit of a leg up on our predictions with this one as it actually opened yesterday where it pulled in around $16 million with $7 million of that coming from Tuesday previews (that number is preliminary for now until official Wednesday numbers are released from the studio.) Tracking right now has the film hitting a little over $90 million for the 5-day haul with about $65 million of that coming on the weekend. Having seen the film and absolutely loving it, combined with stellar reviews (including an impressive 9/10 from our own Chris Bumbray) and strong word of mouth,...

Henry Czerny received a mission from filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie and chose to accept it.
That mission? Return as former Imf chief Eugene Kittridge in “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One,” 27 years after he first appeared in the original “Mission: Impossible” in 1996.
At the “Dead Reckoning” premiere in New York, Czerny said when he first got the call about returning to the “Mission: Impossible” world, he didn’t believe it.
“I think it’s a joke at first because my reps called me and said they want to bring Kittridge back and I’m in the middle of doing my errands in Los Angeles and fighting traffic or shredding old tax documents,” he told Variety. “I think, ‘Okay, what’s going on really?’ They say, ‘Chris McQuarrie wants to talk to you about bringing Kittridge back,’ and I take it seriously. Two days later, I’m on a call with Chris McQuarrie.

Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning, Part One is tracking for a franchise-best opening in the $90 million range at the domestic box office in its first five days, a huge start for the July tentpole. And there’s plenty of upside, according to polling.
Cruise is in Europe this week for the Rome and London premieres of the movie. The Paramount and Skydance film begins opening in cinemas across the globe three weeks from now, including Wednesday, July 12, in North America. The $90 million projection includes a three-day weekend estimate of $65 million or more.
The latest installment in the famous action franchise is expected to be another win for Cruise after Paramount and Skydance blockbuster Top Gun: Maverick, which grossed nearly $1.5 billion at the worldwide box office last year despite ongoing challenges posed by the pandemic. It's been just over 20 years, but the "Fast and Furious" saga is running out of road, and "Fast X" marks the beginning of the end. After going from small scale robberies to international espionage and even heading to space, there are not many other places to go, so "Fast X" involves a very "Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation" plot that finds the family on the run from their biggest threats yet -- The Agency that once shielded them, and also a live-action gender-fluid Bugs Bunny in the form of Jason Momoa's Dante Reyes.
Dante is the best villain the "Fast and Furious" franchise has got to date, and the best part of the movie. He is not just another guy who wants to rule the world, but one deeply obsessed with the events of "Fast Five," one who takes things personally and will stop at nothing until he destroys Dom and everything he loves.

Tom Cruise continues to defy the laws of physics for entertainment value in the new trailer for “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One,” the seventh installment in the spy-action franchise that ups the ante with each successive film.
The action set pieces — largely practical — are the centerpiece of each “Mission” movie: in the first film it was Ethan Hunt dangling over a computer, “M:i 2” was Cruise climbing a cliff-face, “M:i 3” had the bridge attack, “Ghost Protocol” saw Cruise hang off the tallest building in the world, “Rogue Nation” put Cruise on the outside of an airplane while it took off, and “Fallout” had a nail-biting skydiving sequence.
So what’s on tap for “Dead Reckoning Part One?” For starters, Cruise jumps a motorcycle off a cliff. But then there’s what looks to be the major set piece: a massive practical train action sequence.

It’s become tradition for each “Mission: Impossible” to feature bigger, wilder stunts than the previous film, and the upcoming “Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One” is pulling out all the stops in the stunt department.
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, director Christopher McQuarrie opened up about some of the most challenging sequences in the film, which include star Tom Cruise riding a motorcycle off a giant ramp and over a cliff, and another in which a massive train plunges off a bridge.
“At the start of this movie, I said to Tom, ‘What do you want to do?'” recalled McQuarrie, who also directed “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation” and “Mission: Impossible – Fallout”.

"Avatar: The Way of Water" is out on digital. Perhaps you've heard of it? The long-awaited sequel to 2009's "Avatar" by James Cameron made almost $2.5 billion at the box office. It continues the story of the Sully family as they hide out from the humans of the Rda, who have returned to Pandora after years away. The family finds sanctuary with the Metkayina, a water-based group of Na'vi who have developed physical adaptations for swimming.
You may have heard the stories on-set of the actors holding their breath underwater, aka freediving, for a very long time. This includes Kate Winslet — who played Ronal, one of the Metkayina — holding her breath for a whopping seven minutes and 15 seconds. In fact, all the swimming scenes were done "wet for wet," meaning that they were all shot underwater. That meant the actors had to learn to swim under the surface for a long time without scuba gear,...

Since 1996, Tom Cruise has been the heart of the “Mission: Impossible” film series, thrilling audiences as Ethan Hunt, the Imf agent constantly plunged into increasingly dangerous scenarios. And he’s not about to stop anytime soon – “Mission: Impossible, Dead Reckoning, Part One,” the seventh film in the franchise, is due out this July, while “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, Part Two” will be unleashed next June.
If, somehow, you’ve never seen any of the “Mission: Impossible” movies, they began in 1996 with the Brian De Palma-directed original, an adaptation of the popular, Bruce Geller-created spy series that ran from 1966 to 1973 for 172 episodes and was revived briefly in the late 1980s (that version only ran for two seasons and 35 episodes). Many of the hallmarks of the television series made it into the movie – the mission briefing that would “self-destruct” at the end of the message, the idea of a team of highly trained specialists,...

Eight years after the project was first announced, writer/director Robert Eggers‘ remake of F.W. Murnau’s 1922 silent classic Nosferatu (watch it Here) is finally in production, with filming taking place in Prague. With the start of production comes the launching of a website, which you can check out at This Link – and which is currently quite low on content. But the website does include some information we haven’t covered here before: Eggers’ The Witch star Ralph Ineson and Simon McBurney are both in the cast!
McBurney has over 60 screen acting credits to his name, stretching back to the 1980s. In recent years he had roles in Carnival Row, The Pale Blue Eye, The Conjuring 2, and Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (pictured below).
Ineson and McBurney join a cast that includes the previously announced Lily-Rose Depp (Yoga Hosers), Nicholas Hoult (The Menu), Emma Corrin (The Crown), Aaron Taylor-Johnson...

Disney has had some serious success turning its theme park attractions into movies. Specifically, the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise turned into one of the biggest in the studio's history, with more than $4.5 billion worth of box office to show for it across five movies and 20 years. Unfortunately, it has been tough for the Mouse House to replicate that success, as other theme-park-to-silver-screen plays have not been quite as successful. To that end, 2015's ambitious sci-fi flick "Tomorrowland" failed badly to bring the futuristic land from the Disney theme parks satisfyingly to the big screen.
The film, directed by Brad Bird ("Incredibles") flopped brutally upon release, taking in just $209 million worldwide against a massive $190 million production budget. The story, cooked up by Bird and Damon Lindelof ("The Leftovers") did not resonate with moviegoers and, as a result, cost the studio a tremendous amount of money. While the final figures weren't ever revealed,...

The U.K.’s British Film Commission and Film in Austria, the national film commission for Austria, have struck a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) paving the way for more film and high-end TV production between the two territories.
New film and TV production incentives were introduced in Austria last month, including Europe’s first “green” filming bonus. Meanwhile, in the U.K., statistics released in February revealed that investment into film and high-end television during 2022 reached a record height of £6.27 billion (7.72 billion).
Through the MoU, which will be signed in Berlin on Sunday, the Bfc and Film in Austria say they seeks to “encourage greater cultural, commercial and creative exchange between the U.K. and Austria whilst actively working together to foster opportunities to support inward investment film and high-end TV production in both countries.”
Productions previously filmed across both jurisdictions include “The Witcher” (Netflix), “Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation” (Paramount...

The "Mission: Impossible" franchise is a revolving door. Countless characters appear in one movie and then vanish without a trace, let alone a name-drop, from the next one. The only anchors from the beginning to the present are Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt and Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell.
These hi-and-byes happened behind the camera too. From the first 1996 "Mission: Impossible" up to 2015's "Mission: Impossible -- Rogue Nation," each film had a different director. This was what kept the franchise fresh even though the scripts were formulaic (Ethan's framed for treason by the real mole in every other movie). Each director had a different style and so told the story in a different way.
Brian De Palma's original "Mission: Impossible" had the most low-key set pieces but still had his usual boiling suspense; take the scene where Ethan is accused of being a mole by his handler Kittridge...
