What makes a movie masterpiece is Good Storyline and Acting. VASH exactly delivers the same. Good direction, story and acting make it so interesting. Both Hiten sir and Janki have nailed it. Krishnadev Yagnik did the best job in writing as well as direction. I thought CHHELO DIVAS is his best creation until today It's just 2 hours movie but utilities each of the second. Even Indian cinema hasn't produce the same kind of movie. Hat's off to the guts of the cast and crew. Very disturbing yet promising movie by Gujarati film Industry. I think it will raise the bars and we will get more movies like VASH in future. Must watch.

Awesome acting...by all the characters. Story was a little complicated but too good...bgm is breathtaking. Cinematography is unbelievable for gujrati movie. No one can predict the story and climax of the movie.this movie is don't have a unnecessary drama and songs . All the focus in movies is only on the story . Story have a very good twist and turn in so many times movie is little bit slow but you can't bore in movie . You can't want to blink for a second . I'm socked and can't believe bcz this movie is Gujarati. Very nice movie by krishnadev yagnik. This movie is special for the suspense and thrill or dark movie lovers. Hiten Kumar perfect power pack of acting hitu kanodia is perfect drama king and story is this king heavy thriller amazing package.

They are legend actor but we forgot and just they come to show...how and what they really do Our generation take them very lightly and say backwards but king is always king... Just see full family but this strictly follow instructions this movie is really affect mind who is heart petition and pregnant women's so see this movie enjoy and feel what is real gujrati cinemas and feel about proud our local launguage and actor they are much better than Bollywood now a days.

Generally i'm not post any review about any movie on internet, but after see this kind of crazy my Gujarati regional movie, i'm really surprised this kind of cinema i doesn't expecting for Gujarati film industry, well done "krushnadev yagnik" you are my favourite on my director list. Movie is full thrill & intense & also have 1-2 crazy jumpscare. Plot is very crazy, you can't predict what is the movie climax. That dark intense background music that's was stuck you to watch on screen. This recent Gujarati movie that I watched was simply outstanding. The storyline was engaging and the actors gave powerful performances that kept me at the edge of my seat. The direction was excellent and it was a perfect complement to the film. I was thoroughly impressed by the authenticity and the cultural richness that was portrayed in the movie.

What struck me the most was how this movie was far better than some of the overhyped Bollywood movies that I've seen recently. It had all the elements of a great film - drama, humor, and emotions - but was devoid of any unnecessary melodrama or over-the-top acting. It was a refreshing change and I highly recommend this movie to anyone looking for a good film experience.

Acting was exceptionally great. Janki Bodiwala has come with a unique role and nailed it. Background music was excellent. Small detailings are mentioned well.

This is one of a kind in Gujarati cinema. This is beginning of such horror thriller in Gujarati movie industry. Director Krishnadev yagnik has mentioned small details fabulously. Horror thriller has its own audience and it keeps creating new audience. May this movie do the same and we can see more in this genre in Gujarati. Youth who loves unique movies, movie lovers who wants to see new things should watch it and bring others as well.

I can't take my eyes off the screen for a single second while watching krishnadev yagnik starer "VASH".

VASH is start to end gripping movie..and It is successful in presenting the social awareness through this movie...!! Story, screenplay, direction, writing all were of A-one quality in the movie..!

Performance of all lead actors like Janki Bodiwala, Hiten Kumar were top level..and matching according to the requirement of the script. Movie was totally unpredictable..and when movie was approaching towards climax it was an all time difference experience..!!

If u are from gujarati audience..This movie deserves your attendance in theater..And if u are non gujarati audience and comfortable to watch with subtitles..You should come to watch this movie. It would be your best theatrical experience..!!

Story, acting, direction, background music all are at perfect. Just one primary location, four actors still one can make wonderful thriller film. Hence proven that one don't need many locations, costumes, actors, production set, songs, VFX etc.. Just need strong script and perfect acting, direction, cinematography and editing. Hiten Kumar's acting is marvelous. Janki Bodiwala, Hitu Kanodia and Nilam Panchal has also gave their best performance.

Coming to the film it's thriller film which deal with hypnotism. How hypnotism can be so dangerous and life changing and how that family will deal with trap of hypnotism. I won't reveal the rest.. Go and watch this masterpiece.

Recently Guj Cinema has given various thought provoking films and some socially bold attempts also. Mr. K Y enters Suspense, Thrill, Abanded kidnap kind, drug induced hypnotism on wrong path and GORE zone. He did splendid things just after interval some lengthy slow screen play takes time in re gripping but still he has some thing more in store so rightly bounces back. Modern Gujarati family with their choices rightly ecohes the culture. We have Hiten Kumar a new Villan terrific role, wel done. With Hitu K as father. Do not get confused by name similarity. They performed very well to get tied honors. Janki Bodiwala though bare - minimum dialogues but very high level acting wise in all facets of the wonderful main character. Mother o k. It's a Gujarati Movie most likely to be dubbed in many languages including English! Just get going for this film before routine after talks may dilute the suspense thrill.

Vash (2023) : Brief Review -

A black magic thriller that scores high on brutal and insane torture and that RAAKSHAS theme on both sides. Gujarati supernatural horror thriller Vash wastes almost half an hour in the beginning with a boring family drama, but then casts a truculent spell on viewers. Maybe you can recall some other revenge dramas where the antagonist tortures the hero or his family like hell, and the hero gives him back his own taste, but more brutally. Most of them were foreign-language thrillers in my memory, but I don't think any of them were in the supernatural horror zone or were about black magic. Vash becomes valid and fresh because of the genre. It also becomes a successful cinematic outing with a powerful dose of emotions. Vash is about a happy family whose delightful world is turned upside down after a stranger enters their life. He soon enters their house and then begins a game of torture. The girl is caught under the magic spell of a RAAKSHAS (monster) and is pitted against her own family against her own inner wishes. She can't deny the orders, and she can't even stop expressing her feelings to her parents. The only question that bothers you again is why the antagonist is doing all this to this girl and to her family. Is there any past story? I won't reveal much, but you'll get all the answers in the climax. Then there is an anti-climax to add a cherry on top. Like I said, it wastes the first 30 minutes, and then you see Vashikaran stuff in the next 30 minutes. Then, the second half hooks you and chokes you emotionally. A few scenes might break your nerves, but I think they could have done much better since we have seen "The Exorcist" go all-out, blind, and wild way back in the 70s. So, you could have gone extra wild and cruel in 2023. Well, the anti-climax fulfils that wish to some extent, though. The entire cast is amazing, but Janki Bodiwala is sensational. The last frame of hers will break your heart. Krishnadev Yagnik's flick is a solid one-time watch but is not for weak-hearted people.

The plot and story of this movie are extraordinary. The movie make us feel every bit of second. This movie must be release in every language of India and also in English so crowd can enjoy the charm of this Gujarati movie. This movie is beyond of our every experience. This is feel and thrill with lots of emotions. THIS MOVIE IS NOT ONLY FOR GUJARATI THIS COULD BE FOR OSCAR TOO. This is new era for Gujarati movies. We can say proudly that our GUJARATI CINEMA NOW WORKING TOO HARD FOR BETTER FUTURE OF GUJARATI CINEMA. THIS MOVIE IS THE EXAMPLE OF THAT REALITY. I DONT WANT TO SPOIL ANYTHING FOR MOVIE LOVERS..SO GO AND WATCH.

Atharva is a pilot and has an happy family consisting of his wife Beena and his two children, Aarya and Ansh. On the way to their regular vacation at the farmhouse, they stopby at a dhaba to have food. Aarya is too conscious of her diet and doesn't want to eat there. A random stranger Pratap helps out Atharva by sharing his token for a beverage and soon joins the family at the table. He offers Aarya a candy and unknown to the family, Pratap has cast a spell on Aarya, completely controlling her. What happens when Pratap follows them to their farmhouse and causes mayhem overnight, forms rest of the story.

This was a pretty much straight forward horror story that is driven by the performances. Pratap who calls himself a devil, is menacing through his calm demeanour. Aarya as his puppet gets to do all the heavy scenes while the parents remain helpless throughout. Krishnadev Yagnik has succeeded in getting the tone right, from the beginning itself. As one scene builds onto another, the transition is indeed smooth. I couldn't sympathise with the annoying little brother though. It was the final act where things become a bit too convenient as the father tracks Pratap to his den, other than that, the terror filled night alone succeeded in delivering an entertaining film.

Useless.. Not even worth for 1Star.. Dont even waste your time to watch this movie in phone. No climax.. didn't shared why that person doing all this.. also they were trying hard to make this movie long for 2 hour. Didn't shown anything then cruelty. Completed whole movie in single farm house and in one night.. believe me dont read other reviews you will regret watching this movie.. janki's acting was so so good but it doesn't make sense if you have not good story.. in between audience gets bored as they dont had much content to show in this movie. Even that villan voice is also not good i wanted to leave show in between but ended up using phone in theatre.

I rarely write reviews but watching it last night , made me write this. You can see plot through the trailer but you will have no idea what you are going to witness in the hall..My mind was blown.. My 16 year son wanted to move out in the middle. Do not bring children in this movie..This is a sincere warning.. The movie is a spectacular horror/thriller movie you can come across any language. What a terrific performance by the whole star cast !! This is what made it a truly great movie. You can feel their misery, their pain, their relief. It had unusual turns and twists and it will make you very very uncomfortable. I have seen a lots of horror movies and still I am able to tell you this.

I am a proud gujju now. Please dub it and release in other languages so that they can see this masterpiece !!!!

This Movie Will Set Such Benchmark For Gujarati Cinema For Sure, This Does Not Seems Like Watching Movie These Actors Are Live The Characters Of It's Own. I Would Say This Is The Greatest Gujarati Movie Ever Made In The History Of Gujarati Cinema. Hiten Kumar Is Such Orthodox Actor We All Knew But He Made Us To Hate This Character His Voice Is So Groovy That It Feels Like This Character Is Only Made For Him And My God Janki Bodiwala Nailed The Character Of Arya, Every Single Expression From Start Till End Is On Point. Charm Of Hitu Kanodia Is Top Class As Always. Every Actor Did Superb. Story, Acting , Music, Plot, Direction, Dialogues Everything On Point. Hats Off.

The movie premise and the fact that it was about possession was something that intrigued me into going along with my friends who had made a plan for the movie.

First frame onwards the movie shows a gripping set of performances by artists, Janki Bodiwala is the bright and chirpy daddy's girl and the tiny happy family with Hitu Kanodia (Excellent performance) and his wife Nilam Paanchal portray a simple upper middle class family going on a trip and something goes very very wrong. What happens later forms the narrative and premise of this gripping story.

The performances are spectacular, Hiten Kumar is top notch. Director Krishna dev yagnik has delivered yet another class film. The cinematography, background score, production, writing and sound design all are brilliant and give any movie a run for its money.

Bollywood needs a little bit to learn on how to take a simple story and tell it with so much conviction and cool!

Must must must watch this one... do not miss!

Mindblowing supperb & very very very good acting of janki. We love alot that movie for janki's acting and janki gives a lot of her efforts, some bold scenes and she indulge her self in that caracter of vashikaran. We want to see your every mindblowing efforts & this heartening acting in every next movies & we are wishing you that you come shortly in Bollywood also janki and Bollywood needs much that type of real actor instead of nepotism, and we are wishing that Bollywood appropriate your work and your acting skills janki. And director had to give some massage to viewers or the society about that movie or story but he or writers didn't, naver mind.

Wonderfully crafted Psychological thriller has extreme capacity to engage you for every minute with sensational acting and cinematography.

Topics which haven't been referred to cinema frequently are difficult to establish on big screen still team had done beautiful job.

I was more fond of gujarati plays than movies. But Gujarati Cinema is evolving. This movie shows it as one of the example.

A story about a family who gets entrapped by a man who takes over mind control of a family member and suspense thrill ride starts on. The story revolves around the family's journey to outcome this unexpected crisis.

As far as storytelling goes, it is really good but could've been better specially the part where initial process of hypnosis starts. The other issue is that language accent. For a very long time I have seen that Gujarati cinema always have very formal accent of the language. Where as street language is less formal. It sounds like text book reading.

Everyone who portrayed their characters did amazing job.

I highly recommend this movie to anyone who likes to see regional cinema. You will not be disappointed.

This is one of the master pieces I have seen. Superb acting, drama, thrill and direction. A must watch. The girl who is under the influence has pulled a master stroke. I really think Bollywood should not recreate this movie, and everyone should watch this in Gujrati in its original form. The movie is picking up a lot of attention via word of mouth, so check out if its in cinema near you, as the thrill can be best enjoyed in cinema. The movie has no unnecessary songs, side tracks, sub plots. It sticks to its core, and goes deep in its subject and hence you feel really connected and invested in the movie. The action picks up within the first 5 mins, so don't miss the starting.
