- While no racial violence is depicted, historically racist depictions exist within the film. According to the 60s aesthetic, a female Golly doll in red bikini is used as a hair ornament in two short scenes. It is referred to as "tacky" by another character. A demon character is portrayed as a humanoid black bull, played by a man covered head to tow in black grease paint while wearing black horns. While not playing a black minstrel character, the relation of blackening the skin with grease paint may evoke implications of blackface.
- Hijinks typical of slap-stick comedy. This includes, but is not limited to, shoving, tripping, smacking, slapping, punching, and tripping. There are also depictions of historical discipline of concubines with switches intended comedically during montage segments, a young boy peeing himself in fright, and excessive fake blood pouring out of a character's mouth after a physical confrontation.
