There are many things to like in this movie irrespective of the poorly executed elements.

The comedy has worked throughout the movie, beautiful songs by Sean Rolden and a decently paced first half. This is not a movie about only Murugan's luck but it's more about all things happening in his life.

The second half was slow paced, you need some patience to appreciate the good stuff. Some of the scenes were superfluous towards the climax and could have written better!

The cast was good and everybody did their part well, special mention to Murugan's wife!

But overall, a decent family entertainer!

I started to watch with low hopes and it ended as surprisingly good watch. I would recommend the same, lower your expectation, you will get surprised. All the characters are written very well and done decent job.

The story was simple and there is no lagging moment. Sometimes the making was bit amateur, but not so bad. This one is the real OTT material.

The luck factor was used only in the intro scenes after that nothing. Even the real estate moments are more like filling gaps, and adds more logical holes. Towards end it makes lot of loose ends and SUBAM.

One time watchable to kill the time.

Balaji Venugopal has proven his mettle as an excellent feel-good filmmaker in Lucky Man. His sense of humour is extra-ordinary. The effective quirks takes the narrative to exciting new places just like how Yogi Babu takes his car to new parking spots 😏

Sean Roldan's pleasant songs linger in ur ears even after u leave the theater. Yogi Babu and Veera excel in wonderfully written roles. Abdool and Amit Bhargav do very well in important supporting roles. Special mention to the cinematographer for providing excellently lit visuals.

Overall, it's worth our time and money. Don't miss this superb feel good movie.

Watched this movie only because of Yogi Babu hype and was left totally disappointed. Nothing works in this movie, horrible story, screenplay, acting, direction. Yogi Babu is trying to become Santhanam but forgets that Santa works so hard in each and every aspect, while Yogi Babu appears in movie as though he just woke up and delivers such a monotonous and flat performance. What an over rated artist ! Mandela and Bommai nayagi are rarest of rare and worked because of the directors. Only redeeming aspect of Lucky man movie is music by Sean Roldan and single by Sanjay Subramanyam. The movie runs for 135 minutes and I just saved that of your life with this review.

Felt like I watched a very sensible tamil movie after a long long time, living abroad and watching Tamil movies on Netflix and prime video , tamil movies had started to loose their essence , it was and unfulfilling feeling every time I watched a movie , there always seemed to be like something was missing, at first I was hesitant to watch this movie as I hadn't heard anyone mention it, I went ahead and played the trailer ,it kindled some curiosity and then once I started watching it, I just couldn't stop it, I watched a movie called Khushi yesterday and felt why they had undergone the struggle of converting it into multiple languages when the story was so poor, honestly it's movies such as these that need to be converted into multiple languages . The film beautifully displays the everyday struggle of a family with lower income it was nice to see yogi babu as a father a husband, an employee as well as a comedian maintaining the humour throughout the movie. Yogi baby has developed as an wonderful actor over the years. Watching him starting to choose characters such as these ones makes it easy to predict that he is going to become on of the most applauded actors in Tamil cinema. Wish him all the best for his success.

A story full of potential and good morals, Lucky Man started off on a great note but gradually lost the flavor after the climax. Such a bummer😔

DELICIOUS

-Always a joy to see Raichal Rabecca and Yogi Babu😍 Their interaction was so natural and they completed each other well.

Their son was a beautiful addition; he actually looked like he could be Yogi Babu's son 😄

The rest of the cast did a fine job of providing the needed humor and carrying the story forward

-There's no way you can leave Lucky Man without learning a lesson. The film was packed with advice on honesty, leadership, parenthood, forgiveness, etc.

And the engaging editing infused some levity to sympathize with Muruga's misfortunes

BLAND

-Sadly, after the climax, the screenplay took on a non-captivating route during the investigation of the car as it was just dragging and going in circles.

Additional elements such as Inspector Siva's love connection, though serving as a parallel story, didn't blend well with the overall luck theme.

Hence, the flavor was lost and there wasn't much to look forward to

As Lucky Man was director Balaji's first project, we give him 'A' for effort and will be looking out for more of his work.

You can watch all along with your family without any hesitation.....Only Story and Comdey... No room for Double Meaning dialogues, Glamour, Swear word used only once emotionally in one scene, but it's funny.... 10/10.

Nowadays most of the movies are garbage with poor story line and add some glamor to spice up and double meaning dialogue. But this movie is complete different. Everyone played their role perfect, each and every character have strong link in story. No any nonsense scenes which is not needed story line. No need to skip songs because story also conveys along with song. 100% fun guarantee... Must Watch.

A simple comedy which did not need any logic has been destroyed with unnecessary logic and then it becomes illogical and tries to prove something. Extremely irritating when something that is supposed to be simple is made complex and then destroyed in the complexity.

If you were hoping to laugh, you will be welcomed with unnecessary twists and turns and emotions to end up making you cry. The whole business of comedy is lost.

This movie does not deserve even a free viewing, absolute time waster. Acting and mismatched scenes only add to the agony of having to watch this nonsense to the viewers.

I Really love Yogi Babu movies a lot..I felt whenever he is acting as comedian it is awesome🔥🔥But when he act as hero,omg he is good in selecting the scripts. I loved Mandela,Yannai Mugathan,Repeat Shoe,Gurkha movie and many more.. In the middle of so many video game type gun fight movies, these kind of movies are keeping the budding directors with wonderful script. My big salute for selecting Raichal Rabecca as the heroine. She gave the same natural performance as in Good Night. Yogi Babu, Abdool Lee really showed the material they are made up of. Veera Bahu as the negative person, showed his class without raising his voice or weapons. This is a kind of movie that one can watch with his kids and grand parents without any hesitation. Yogi Babu's story selection needs to be applauded. Such a heart warming movie. Movies like these keep our hopes high about having a story as winner in the middle of VFX dramas.

I enjoyed the movie by watching it alone in my room. I loved every scene and sequence. I appreciate the direction for the powerful writing and connecting each scene in to the relevant portion. Best movie of the year, yogibabu and his wife's character nailed the scenes. Never seen this much of beautiful film directed in his first movie. The character of the police guy did well in his portion and Yogi Babu's friend supported the whole character to the hero. I wish Yogi Babu sir would do and support this sort of direction and movies. Its a story of an ordinary person with elightfull acting of every characters 👏 good family entertainer ... Pls don't discourage this movie it shows how the pain ,love ,caring, emotion controlling is carried out by an ordinary man. Co-actors are really amazing ! Most underrated movie. Why do still people discourage these movies dont know. Many worst story movies also i have watched in this 2023. This movie is quite good from my point. This movie also shows how middle class parents grew their children showing the good and bad views pf everything. This lucky man has lucky friends and family who supported him!

Cinema that surprises you with it's simple approach and amazing direction, acting, editing, screenplay. I am hindi bollywood viewer but I have seen this movie in english subtitles and I didn't skipped any scene. Yogi Babu is super and other casting is very accurate. I really liked the movie and it's one of the best in my list.

The movie is really good just watch it and you will feel that, it keeps your attention whole time and it taps your emotions impressively. All the characters in the movie come out nicely and portray their impact. This is worth to watch and it sets the example that how a very normal script can be converted to amazing screenplay.
