What Booth did to the girl when they found her first was straight up torture, and that the paramedics stood by during it was reprehensible. He had ZERO proof that she was responsible for the death of the undercover cop, just suspicions based on her lost foot being found at the presumed shooting location. Even if she had been involved, no one should ever deny or in any way delay medical care to a person with a gangrenous amateurishly-amputated foot who was near death when found. When back in the office after that, Booth was simultaneously claiming that he will both do anything for a dead cop (Yes, including violate every civil right imaginable.) and won't stand for (other) corrupt cops. (Thinking the undercover cop's boss is covering for him.) That's both contradictory and ridiculous. Then to top those off, when they have located the girl's partner from their ATM robberies, and after saving him from a beating by the local cop, Booth himself threatens to throw the guy down stairs if he doesn't confess to murder. (In the end neither the guy or girl killed the cop, but she was the victim of the corrupt dead cop's partner in crime shooting off her foot.)
These are the actions of a sociopath, not a decent likable person. This episode was the worst of the entire series that I can remember.
