I usually think that The Voice is the stronger series head to head than American Idol, but this year the talent is just not stacking up right now. The song choices were fairly uneventful and unoriginal here and I was not really blown away by anyone.
I think the coaches made the right choices for the most part, but that is not enough to call me it a good show.
They can only rely on this being Blake Shelton's final season for so long, but eventually that is going to wear off. We need some strong singers and we are not exactly getting that with the crop of artists they are churning out week after week.
