You won't be able to predict one single thing and makes it 100 times better!!!

Incredible how this super short series is so good.

Well written with amazing characters with layers and just overall well rounded and quality show!

This drama has different timelines where it comes back and forth to the past and the present and you will spend the whole series trying to figure out what is happening at the present while fishing for clues in the flashbacks but its so cleverly written that you won't know until the very end!

I loved the feeling this story gave me, so warm and innocent but deep, heartbreaking and emotional at the same time.

The acting surprised me a lot, the three main characters nailed their roles, specially Oh Se Hun, I have never seen him before but he was just leading the drama unintentionally, he shone bright adding so much charisma! He showed a candid and comic side of his character but also was great with the rest of the emotions.

This was a great watch, loved it so much! And the rewatch potential for this is very high, I will do it so now that I know how it ends I will be able to pick up every detail i missed better to connect them with the future!

Emotional roller coaster
shenad1825 October 2023
What started as an innocent school story turned out to (for me) an emotional roller coaster ride. I thought the young actors - the high school students, were all amazing in their roles they played. If ever a joint award were to be given for best young actors portraying a team, the ATWL characters get my complete votes.

I was first taken by the story line as present, past and future continued to affect and impact the lives of these high school students who enjoyed life as best friends, who wanted to protect their friends and families from bullying and prejudices in society, who had to deal with illness, death, grief at a very young age. How everything in life affected them, made them mature, made them grow as young people in this world.

Why is it a roller coaster ride for me? Because the topic of family love - so pure, so tender, so gentle that enveloped JunHee - unconditional affection by both his grandma and his best friend, Ko You. Both were always there for JunHee no matter what.

The introduction of the young So Heon was akin to adding a catalyst amidst the youngsters to test their friendship and love. I have to say, I was quite affected by moments of such maturity from the young kids and wondered where our real world went wrong in terms of actual life, affection and unselfishness.

I think this drama needs to be credited more fir it's storyline, characterisation and amazing acting spirit if the entire cast.

Not Good Enough

Korean Drama " All That We Loved " is a mini series about school, friendship, and first love.

The drama uses the trick of what happened in the past to present the story of two boys who grew up as siblings, but, apparently, something happened between them, for now they have gone their separate ways. And true, the friendship aspect of the drama was enjoyable to watch, as their sweet relationship was indeed more than friendship.

However, things got predictable and boring after the first half, when the drama focused more on them loving the same girl and fighting over her. It would have also been nice if they had explored the cellular memory syndrome more rather than only offering some hints here and there.

As for the performances, everyone in the cast did a nice job with their characters.

So, overall, three out of ten.
