- It's a zombie movie so you already know to expect reanimated, flesh eating, bloody living dead shambling about.
- A rather tame car accident that does very little damage to the vehicle seriously mucks up all of the passengers inside. Bloody noses and head wounds to the two in the front, facial lacerations to one girl who flew from the backseat into the dash, and another girl in the back has a broken bone protruding from her leg.
- Hallucination of a woman smoking with a bloody crater where her face should be (film director's cameo).
- Zombie massacre at the festival: lots of gore, bloody entrails, squishy flesh eating, gurgling, a buffet of limbs, screams, and a zombie has her head exploded.
