A clever short, even if the story (and particularly its ending) is quite a bit depressing.
At first we are given the impression of a series of flashbacks to unfold the backstory of the main character; initially we are led to believe this is going to be a "gangster-downfall" type of plot (Something like Once Upon a Time in America, just with rabbits) with some war elements.
Then, the "flashbacks" start seeming a bit contradictory, and ultimately the truth is revealed: None of the "flashbacks" is actually real; they are mere recollections of the previous roles of a bitter bunny actor who doesn't have a life of its own: His fake life is far more exciting and happier than his succesful but empty real life, leading to a tragic conclusion.
The CGI is a bit uneven (Mostly as an effect of giving human proportions to rabbits) but the plot is solid and engaging.
The Charles Chaplin quote at the beginning gives this a bitter touch of irony.
