The Bro Mitzvah (#8.22)

Warning: Spoilers
If course Barney's bachelor party had to be legendary! And this episode made a great job about it. It did seem so weird at first and I was kind of getting the idea that they are playing a trick on him. Because come on, how wouldn't his friends know who he thinks the karate kid is.

And it had so many hilarious stories. It was great to see Quinn again. She is a pretty cool character and it was very believable that she would do this with Robin.

Ralph Macchio and William Zabka were a great idea for guest stars. I liked that in the episode even though I myself never watched karate kid.

And Barney's mother is a great character as well. Scenes with her were hilarious.

Great episode after much time...
well this episode is about bachelor party for Barney... nice twist though... you will love it if you love your friends getting teased... i almost having disinterest in HIMYM... but this episode changed my interest... i like the Chinese mob idea... also that North Korean joke... n Quin is looking hot as stripper and the best part is The Karate Kid... the writers has worked smartly for story as well as Joke like you are doing this to Barney, I love it... and Barney's mom is great, the way she is teaching to do it, with bread- sticks and Ring... awesome... now i am hoping for more good episode from writers...

show more BARNEYISM...!!!

One Of The Best Episodes Ever

This is one of the best episode ever and "How I Met Your Mother"

Plot In A Paragraph: Ted and Marshall kidnap Barney for his surprise bachelor party. This leaves Robin to spend the evening having dinner alone with Barney's mother Loretta. Barney, who coins his party as his "bro mitzvah", is sceptical that Ted and Marshall can pull off a successful bachelor party for him, but they are confident that they can do his night justice, especially as they paid attention to Barney's previous description of his dream bachelor party.

A guest appearance by Ralph Macchio was great, as was the return of Quinn (Becky Newton), Barney's last fiancée. My one problem with this episode was Ted's insistence that he be kidnapped (as he was worth more) was so ridiculously poor, that it would have gave the game away immediately. Alyson Hannigan was brilliant in her flirting with Macchio, but once again it's Neil Patrick Harris that was the star of the show.

Any episode that features the brilliant Neil Patrick Harris's character Barney Stinson in the main storyline is always excellent. I could go on and on about the brilliance of this episode, and in particular Neil Patrick Harris but I won't bore you with it.

Now bring on the wedding, where we meet the mother!!
