The best yet.

A woman is found dead at the scene of a car accident, the post mortem reveals that she wasn't killed by the crash, but had been murdered first and placed. Jasper finally learns what happened to his father. Duane Vermorel is suspected.

This show is getting better and better, this was a truly brilliant episode, I'd argue the best episode of Professor T to date, excellent in every respect.

That ending was shocking, talk about heart breaking.

The main crime was great, but Jasper's back story was incredible, and that scene between mother and son was incredible. Will be see a different Professor T in series 4, he's definitely been set free.

Gerald Kyd is definitely one of those actors I take notice of, he's excellent. Ben Miller, another league, the best of our Professor so far.

Superbly made, it looked and sounded great.

10/10.

Great Last Episode
neilandjan67 April 2024
What a finish to a good series. A couple of episodes were spoilt by the terrible background music which was unnecessary and obtrusive. Then we come to this episode. The story itself was very good and set the scene for the ending which I am not going to share. It also revealed the truth about what happened to Professor Tempests father. Again I am not going to reveal what happens, but this episode explains why he and his mother are as they are. Great acting all around and it sets the scene for another series, if there is one.

This episode is the best episode of this quirky, enjoyable and watchable series, don't miss it.

Incredible incidental music

Throughout the series, the incidental music has enhanced every episode.

The story to this episode catches you unaware and that is what is great about Professor T.

I see that another series is on its way which is nothing but fantastic news.

Back to this episode. The clever script keeps you guessing as to who is the actual murdered and why they committed the crime, a formulaic pattern to Prof T that's works wonders.

I truly liked the resolve to the relationship between Adelaide and Jasper that concludes brilliantly and paves the way into the next series. Frances de la Tour deserves all awards going for her immaculate acting.

In all, one of the best episodes.

Attachment Issues

Professor T is back giving lectures and looks rather at home. Talking down to his students. Well he did show his caring side staying up all night with his mother in hospital and those places are full of germs.

Meanwhile Donckers and Winters have a new case. Marianne Tierney died in a car accident, later it turns out she was pregnant and was killed by strangulation.

A young teenager Seb was there at the time of the accident but did not do anything. Later it transpires that Seb is an ace gymnast being coached by the dead woman's husband, Peter. It turns out Peter is not the father of the baby.

Professor T knows that one of the people either Peter or someone in the Seb's family is the killer.

The incident also triggers the Professor's own hazy memories of his father's death.

The series is wrapped up nicely with a sort of predictable cliffhanger. I did like how unhinged someone became. It was telegraphed once someone went down on bended knee.

I just hope Professor T's backstory is put to rest for future shows.
