This documentary gives more information surrounding one of Britain's most disturbing series of murders. The documentary outlines the case, the stories of each of the poor children that fell victim to the evil that preyed on them, and follows the families of the victims following this in search of their bodies. It really is a heartbreaking documentary that stays with you for some time. The film deals with the horrible situation in a fairly sympathetic way, and gives the families an opportunity to speak out about what happened. There won't be a dry eye in the house.

Pretty decent documentary if you like true crime ones, however one of the mothers in it talks so strange - you can't really understand half of what shes saying. Its so weird it kind of takes my attention away from the story. Good information tho, worth a watch if you don't know anything about it.

"The Moors Murders" is a mini documentary series from the United Kingdom that deals with a series of murders committed on small children in the sixties by a young couple. It includes interviews with the families of the victims and the officers that carried out the investigation back in the days.

I'm always a bit unsure when it comes to documentaries depicting actual crime cases. On the one hand I can't neglect that they are an interesting topic that keeps us fascinated. On the other hand I always worry about what the benefits of them being documented are and if it is not in the end maybe counterproductive for the families to have to tell their stories again and again to total strangers. However I have to say that this one is really well produced. It delivers all the important facts about the cases and through the interviews you are well capable of emphasize with the families and investigators. It is horrible and unbelievable what some people are capable of doing but unfortunately that doesn't stop terrible things from happening. The only real point of criticism I have is that when someone asks you to please stop recording in a very private and emotionally situation, you should do so and not zoom in.

All in all this is a good and carefully researched overview of the cases. You have to question yourself if you are willing to learn a very ugly and depressing truth but if you are then you'll find a well-produced piece of documentary here.

Oh, my goodness, what a harrowing experience watching this film is. It's meticulously put together, with some incredibly intimate interviews and it brings home to you in sharp relief just how barbaric these murders and murderers were. Definitely a very difficult watch, but really impressive. Highly recommended, if you can bear the very emotive subject matter.
