The Best Peter Pan SNES video game I've ever played.
crosswalkx26 January 2017
As you Peter Pan fans know, back in 1991, there was a live action Tristar movie called Hook featuring Robin Williams as Peter Pan who passed away in 2014. The movie Hook was a box office hit. Following it were video game adaptions of Hook. The NES version made by Ocean company I give a 6/10 because it was hard to play and win.

But the SNES version of Hook made by Sony company was great, keep in mind this is the days before Sony broke off with Nintendo and formed their first Playstation console in 1995. This SNES version I've played was fun. The music in that video game was beautiful with the music by John Williams.

In this side scrolling platform game, you play as Peter Pan who's all grown up. He's married to his wife and he has 2 kids Jack a boy and Maggie a girl. The 2 kids gets kidnapped by Hook and his Pirates flying ship. Hook sends a threatening letter to Peter and Tink later flies to Peters house and takes him away to Neverland where he's reintroduced to the lost boys. Peters clothes change to his green costume, he goes on a training with the lost boys and fights Rufio with a sword and defeats him. He then journeys across the land to the pirate ship where Captain Hook and Peters 2 kids are waiting.

With that review said, I'm surprised to know that the SNES version of Hook isn't available on Nintendo Wii U virtual console channel. I hope Sony decides to reissue Hook on their Playstation 3, 4 Network channel or the Nintendo Wii U channel. It's sad that a popular SNES game Hook isn't available for a legal download to buy. In the meantime make sure to get the SNES cartridge, it's worth buying for your Super Nintendo console.
