Love, Love, Loved It!

Made me think of my own life and how many times I was creating a false personality for others. Made me wanna dig deep to find my true emotions and self in order to covey my message to others. I love how you put acting into light also when the instructor said his job isn't experiencing a role. The use of film used to shoot this movie was the perfect choice. The scale of blacks and whites really captured the emotions within each scene and gave that extra reach to touch the audience. I personally became emotional as if I was there with him and his father. The film score also projected the scenes onto new heights.

You need to definitely see this film

I related deeply to the character of Gideon. As an actress myself, this short was a very accurate representation of what it feels like when you know you've been present in your performance. It was a therapeutic experience for me, as it is for a lot of actors when they truly connect to what they're playing, and the movie does a great job in expressing exactly that. The imagery of the movie is just beautiful, shot on film entirely, it conveys that old, rich feeling of nostalgia. Iman did a beautiful job in portraying Gideon, as did all the filmmakers who put their heart and soul into making this film. You can just tell it's one of those movies that is made out of sheer passion. I love the symbol of the butterfly, as for me, it has always represented a sign of rebirth and I think it's used as a metaphor vert nicely here. Just loved it and I can't wait to see the feature film very soon!

Innovative Art right here

I felt every moment with Gideon from his entrance into the theater until the very end. This film was extremely grounded and it does a great job of touching themes of life mirroring art & how as an artist the affect it can have. One of the best parts of this film that stuck out to me was the ability of the words coming off the page. I was transported with Gideon to these different voids of truth that came when he authentically stepped into the words. The shots make you feel as if you are in the room with every one. The feeling was intimate while keeping you on your toes. This is a must watch for I believe there is something that can be taken away from it by anyone who watches. Great work you all!

The reason why film is so important

Method is a reminder of the visceral power of film. Rarely do I see a movie that shakes me to my core, where the world around me melts away and time stands still. Method is a heart-centered dive into not just an actor's or teachers psyche, but a human's journey. The visuals were absolutely breathtaking, raw, and deeply intentional. Every frame was beautifully constructed, you can't take your eyes away. Iman is a force of an actor and Don Harvey brought a powerhouse of a performance as well. Even the actors without much dialogue brought beautiful performances and emotive expression. This film was such a beautiful balance between nuance and intention. Every emotion was deeply felt and captivating, and the writing was exceptional. Method is a reminder of the power of movies, the connectivity and grief of the human condition, the importance of settling into ourselves even when we want to run. I cannot praise this movie enough and if you are someone who appreciates the arts, and supporting filmmakers with true vision and purpose, you must see this movie. As a fellow actor, this movie made me emotional, inspired, and reflective all at once. That is quite an achievement. You can absolutely tell that everyone put their heart and soul into this. Bravo to everyone involved!
