Amazing episode!
james-7752813 April 2024
For previous season. We used to have reunion episode before the finale. The reunion episodes didn't always translate well to the fans. Some of the queens still didn't get much screen time. For some of them, even got worse portrayal than during the competition. It left a bad taste for the queens and for the audiences.

I'm so glad they decided to change this season. This episode gave all the eliminated queens to shine again! It was a celebration of the season, full of surprises and great performances. The queens were cheering for each other. It was just a good vibe the whole episode.

I'm so happy for the queens!

Best reunion episode eva

Warning: Spoilers
Such a good episode to lead into the finale, I'm so glad that they have finally given the eliminated queens another chance to show off their skills and show the world why they are entertainers. I think that this should be an every season type of thing. So well thought out and played. Just 10's 10's 10's across the board. Morphine may have won the final lip sync but Megami was the one that absolutely slayed and won the episode. I'm so glad that she was able to prove everyone wrong about how she can't perform. Well baby guess what... she can perform the house down and it showed on this episode. Can't wait to see the finale and who wins and where this franchise will go in future seasons.

Production Value

Warning: Spoilers
The production value goes such a long way in this episode. I was truly impressed by everything I saw. The new stage, the live audience, the improved lighting, and the dynamic backdrop really heightened the spectacle of the episode. The judging felt mostly fair and even sometimes dramatic, but justified. Megami having that arc felt so joyful to watch, competing so well right up until the final moment. Morphine absolutely proving herself with a smile on her face. The girls being in the werkroom also felt entertaining and not bitter. Just overall just a fun, exciting, and joyful episode to watch.

Bye Bye Normal Reunions
gondcs14 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This was by far one of the most entertaining episodes of the season (and reunions since S9) All the eliminated girls get more air time and their own redemption without the need of an All Stars and the fans get the excitement of what could be called the Queer Super Bowl. Its amazing for the show and amazing for the fans. I hopr they keep this format going on since reunions fell a little flat on some forced drama and reviewing back little moments that not everyone at home can get and it becomes repetitive and boring. The standouts of the episode were clearly Morphine, Megami and Mirage. Latinos in the house!

Season 16's Shining Moment
rrpnrsbrj13 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This episode and format is a recipe for greatness. With as many queens and lip-syncs, there is a possibility for things to feel repetitive and boring at times, but the pacing of this episode is great, which never allows for that. The stage really ups the ante for performances, and the queens perform astonishingly. Megami, Mirage, Morphine, Amanda and Mhi'ya are the standouts this week, and rightfully so. There are a few things that can be seen as a little "unfair", or "rigged" in the fandoms eyes - like the name drawing, since every time these smackdowns happen, a weaker dancer is chosen first, to pace the episode better. But yes, it would be anticlimactic if say Morphine or Mhi'ya were chosen first, but this can be forgiven for the sake of reality television. I'd love to see this format develop into it's on spin off, with 8-10 queens competing for money, say 10-50k each episode - or even better, have this smackdown come back at the end of each season.

The penultimate episode of the 16th season of RuPaul's Drag Race was a true explosion of talent, glamour, and emotion. From the start, the queens showed their determination to shine, and this episode was no exception. The competition reached a crucial point, and the performances on stage were nothing short of spectacular.

The highlight of the episode was undoubtedly the final lipsync. It was a moment of pure energy and passion, where the two remaining queens gave it their all to secure their place in the grand finale. The intensity of the performance left all viewers breathless as the queens danced and interpreted the music in an incredibly captivating way.

Additionally, the interactions between the queens on stage were equally memorable. The mutual support and camaraderie between them were evident, even as they competed fiercely. It was inspiring to see how they encouraged and supported each other, even under the pressure of the competition.

Moreover, the plots of the episode kept viewers glued to their screens. From unexpected twists to emotional moments of triumph, the episode had it all. It was a rollercoaster of emotions that left everyone eager for what's to come next in the grand finale.
