If you have never watched the movie "Rear Window," you need to watch it first, then you will understand why this episode is so good..
I think "Raising Hope" is a pretty good show, but I do not watch it regularly, and I would give the series 6.5 stars out of 10 total.
However, this show, which is a parody of "Rear Window," (and has references to other Hitchcock films) is brilliant.
You may have to have some familiarity with the characters of "Raising Hope" to understand how they think and act to enjoy the episode fully.
I rarely laugh out loud at TV shows (or anything, for that matter) but I laughed out loud and delighted in several scenes in this episode.
