Interesting movie about a hunter Justin Smeja who claims that he shot and possibly killed two Bigfoots, an adult and juvenile, in the space of an hour and was too lame to prove the discovery of the century-the existence of Bigfoot- by letting the evidence, the Bigfoot bodies, slip right out between his fingers.As for the juvenile Bigfoot that he shot and killed the guy was too , for a better word, brain dead or uninterested to bring its body back to civilization with him but buried it after shooting it between the eyes when it was , we assume, recovered by fellow Bigfeet for a proper burial in the dark woods.
Even if this story is true and Smeja passed a battery of lie detector tests with flying colors the story is far worse then the many Bigfoot fake stories that over the years discredited Bigfoots existence. The story that Smeja tells us is verified by his driver Ro Shaebi who witnessed the entire event and tried to get the trigger happy Smeja not to shoot the man-like creatures. Being a professional hunter Smeja should have taken his quarries back as trophies like a deer moose or bear but, at lest in the case of the juvenile Bigfoot, left them making his claim of being able to prove the existence of a Big foot into question.
The one thing that rings true in Smeja's story, besides passing a lie detector test, is that he didn't try to capitalize on it like so many Bigfoot frauds and fakers have over the years. But it's his completely brainless actions in him wounding and killing the two Bigfeet and then not bothering to prove their existence were far worse then if he made the entire story up!
