I went to the premiere, of the first feature film from Constantino Films, and : what a ride !!!

A low budget gem, but full of non-stop action, with a big, big tribute to the 80's, the killer is a really bad boy, full of goons from the asylum, but Caetano the cop, who is in charge of the investigation, has to track him down, a great movie, that i will wait to catch on blu-ray or DVD.

Finally Portugal has hope... Saw a teaser from the next movie - The Strange Inhabitant, and it was awesome.

Congratulations on this movie it really rocked :)

A Chamada or The Call...

it's a movie made on a low budget, what made it great was the dark edginess of its premise, a lunatic that killed his parents, is locked in a mental institute, soon he gets out, to start a killing spree, his victims, are girls that look like his mother, he is a strange psycho, lives in an abandoned house, full of demented guards, along with one guy that calls himself " breeder " all killers and lunatics, but one man army by the name of Caetano, will try to stop them...

it has a great cast, good effects, lots of action scenes, the action sequences are tense, and effective, the music superbly mastered. i know that this is the first movie from Constantino Filmes, and that they can go higher than this, but i really like it a lot, just hoping for a sequel, maybe...

All i can say now is, go see it, you won't regret it :)

Just saw the premiere, for A Chamada, and it surpassed my expectations, director Rui Constantino, transformed this movie ( a low budget ) into a big budget, with various locations, from Lisbon, to Peniche, A-dos-Cunhados, to Amadora, oh my... i like the character of the ex-prisoner Vitor, he explained well how he lived with the assassin, liked the tormented girl, this movie has it all : pursuits, guns, explosions, combats, and great bad guys, loved Breeder, a mysterious character that just won't die... and the man of the mask, it's creepy, always in dark rooms, full of memories from the past, inside the institute...

A great movie that deserved to be in more screens in Portugal. let's all support Constantino Filmes, they deserve it.

First thing to say is, this is a great and fun movie from beginning to end. The movie it's like a diary of a killer, and a cop who has to stop him, it is the way he does what he does, the way that he fights and overcomes problems that draws you into the movie and makes this movie so great to watch. Rui Constantino is agent Caetano and the director of the movie, he delivers an outstanding performance, as well as directing it, all the cast is great also, for me it's a pure revenge thriller, with a lot of twists, the highlights for me : was the scene where Caetano waits for Breeder in the forest, for one final fight and the killer talking with one of his kidnapped girls, when he acts like a lunatic. It is a movie made for suspense, violence and revenge, a very entertaining and non-stop action thriller film that is a must-see. This film was amazing, and i'm waiting for a sequel, because i saw breeder, moving is legs at the very end, he is not dead...

The film starts nicely, with a great shootout in a parking lot, Agent Caetano is the hero, that tries to stop a killer from the past and the army of the asylum.

this is a great and fun movie from beginning to end, There are some plot twists, that i discovered along the way, the fight choreography is bone crunchingly good. This is one kick ass flick and one I will definitely buy on DVD.

There's been talks of a sequel, just hope is true, because these baddies, stay on our memory.

And we got a little bit of humor, with the ex-prisoner and the Chinese informer, to this end, the overall film has an excellent pace which keeps you very well entertained.

Better watch out, evil comes trough a call...

I'm in this movie, as the chief of police, and i was at the premiere. I was absolutely blown away, I did not expect it to be as exciting and involved as it was, once the film ended everybody was cheering the director.

My favorite part of this movie is the final fight between Caetano and Breeder, it was awesome :)

Overall, it's a great action film, that is full of twists and turns that will make you glued to the screen and have you guessing the unpredictable outcomes. Highly recommended :)

It really is a fun ride, just hoping to be in their next movie.
