Saw the film in LA, got it from a friend. This guy Andy is an old school hitch hiker. The somehow last one on the road. He meets this young - a bit over weighted - German chick from the too selfish nowadays generation. They hit the roads of Australia step by step. Wonderful scenery. One day he has enough when they split. Andy heads on alone like a lonesome cowboy on a damn dusty road to finally nowhere. The last hitch hiker from the generation George!
Work in film business. I hitched myself in the 80's. Best days of my life man. The male lead ANDY is fantastic. Natural and gifted with acting. Never heard of him before, why? An outstanding 'on the road'flick like in the good days when human stories were told. Wonder if they enter some US film festival, they should!!! Excellent for a low budget - independent road movie. A must see!
