It's a failure, for various reasons (subjective and non-subjective)

Warning: Spoilers
"Superman vs. Sharknado" is a 2.5-minute animated short film Lego style and this one was directed by Paul Hollingsworth back in 2014. The title already gives away the core component of this film, or does it really? Actually, it is a lie. Yes there is a short sequence of an animated sharknado very early on, but the rest of the film has nothing to do with it and Superman is certainly not fighting the storm or slaying sharks. Instead, he is fighting against some other villain antagonists. Other superheroes show up for a brief moment, but Superman sends them away and the comment about a sequel sounds more like a threat to me than anything else. Part of my disapproval for this very short movie has to do with subjective taste too. Lego animation is far from my favorite style of animation to be honest. So eventually, the only thing that did not suck here was probably the voice acting, but that doesn't mean it was particularly good either. The title is a cheap attempt to cash in with the popularity of Sharknado, but I cannot give any praise to the outcome here. Watch something else instead unless you really really love both superheroes and Lego animation.
