A boxer is murdered and gave little resistance to the beating he took, right away this tells us that the killer had to be someone special to him.
As usual, we have a whole host of suspects including Albanian tough people, the latter were supposed to keep away from the boxer. His manager is a prime suspect, especially since D'Amato, the boxer, impregnated his granddaughter. Of course, that theory goes out the window when the manager or trainer is found shot to death.
Jane Curtin has to do a mean job of cutting up the boxer to see what he actually died from. That is really gruesome in itself.
