It always boggled my mind how everyone just accepts whatever jim decides he wants to do. No one opposes him being sheriff? No one opposed him in his efforts to continue being a leader of Chester's Mill? He keeps saying that everything he's doing is for the town and yet here he is again screwing everyone over just to get what he wants. He's willing to hand over the egg just to get him and his son out of the dome? Sure, he suggested getting everyone out at first.....but he wasnt very adamant about it. He was very quick to switch to just him and his son. This is part of the reason I think this series was not as good as it could have been. Some of the characters actions make no sense.
