Sex & Nudity

  • Two unmarried couples shown passionately kissing and in various stages of dress before and after sex. One couple is shown undressing each other in car before sex, with lots of heavy breathing and caressing, although no breasts or genitals are shown. Nude men shown from back showering in men's locker room. Man makes reference to women who always like to "be on top."

Violence & Gore

  • Arab heroine's brothers threaten her non-Muslim boyfriend. The threats do not result in violence. Parents and families of the Greek hero and Arab heroine are thrown into chaos because of their relationship, so there is a lot of anger and yelling, but much of it is comedic.

Profanity

  • There are several F words.
  • The F word is used heavily, mostly as a verb, and largely by teenagers. Teen girl mentions size of her boyfriend's "d-."

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Drinking in bar. Arab woman buys beer to share with her Greek boyfriend and has a drink for presumably the first time to assuage anxiety about how their families will react to their relationship. She doesn't like the beer. Alcohol appears in celebration contexts in the movie, but is not glorified.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Any intense scenes in this movie are comedic, as Muslim parents of the heroine and Greek Orthodox parents of the hero react to the relationship between their children and confront each other.

Spoilers
