The final episode?
Tweekums26 March 2016
Warning: Spoilers
This, the final episode of the second season and probably last ever episode, sees Frank and Kat in the States where Franks bumps into an old girlfriend. The opening scenes show Frank racing away from the police; he heads down a narrow alleyway and finds himself heading towards rival transporter Olivier Dassin at high speed. The action then cuts back to twenty four hours earlier as Frank and Cat enter a New York bank where, with the help of Jules, they trick their way into a safety deposit box where they switch a bag of diamonds for a bag of fakes. Unfortunately the real owners of the box arrive; getting out won't be easy. Inevitably they do get out though and shortly afterwards Frank bumps into former girlfriend Zara Knight. It isn't long before she is being threatened to force Frank to steal a new weapon for an arms dealer. While he gets on with that Jules and Cat learn that it was no coincidence that Zara crossed Frank's path… he was being set up from the start.

This was a good first part of a two part story… unfortunately the second part was never made. This means there is plenty of good set up and a cliff-hanger ending but no resolution. The story gets off to a good start and there are plenty of exciting moments including Frank's pre-credit escape from the police and his escape from the bank… I particularly liked the moment he abseiled down the side of a skyscraper and got to the ground just as his pursuers cut the rope. Inevitably one must suspend ones disbelief at times; notably when Frank steals the weapon; it is hard to believe such a dangerous device would be transported with minimal security; the soldiers guarding it travelling the same vehicle where they are quickly overcome after a crash they were lucky to survive. It was nice to see Elyse Levesque return as Zara; her character's motives remained ambiguous for much of the episode. The ending was exciting leaving us wondering about the fates of both Frank and Cat; it is just a pity that we are unlikely to find out what happened next.

Terrible series ending
jquartemont-242-7517847 January 2020
Of all the cliff-hangers I have ever seen, this is the worst. Even Firefly followed a cliff-hanger season ending with a 2 hour tv movie to resolve all the unanswered questions.

Cliff hanger ending
kevin-100204 July 2016
This is typical leave a series on a cliff hanger without confirmation of a third series and never see the outcome and possibly the best episode of the series, surely they could have made one more episode. The story line was it his son or not we were expected to believe so. Does Caterina survive the shooting outside the nursery, and what is the outcome of the crash in the ally so many unanswered questions. Not much more that I can say after the previous review, except a shame and poor ending to what was a good series. The shows writer Frank Spotnitz, has confirmed the cancellation news that it will not be renewed. The decision by the producers came as a surprise, because the series has garnered great reviews.

Terrible finish in final episode

I may drop Netflex due to shows that end abruptly leaving watchers hanging on unresolved issues. The final episode of Transporter may rank as the worst of the unresolved cancelled shows. The followers of this show deserve better.
