LONE SURVIVOR is an interesting survival horror game. It's one of those underrated, lesser talked about indie games. I first played it back when it came out years ago and enjoyed it. I'm replaying it years later after having recently played Undertale and getting the urge for retro 8bit styled games again.
This game is fun and challenging. It offers a plethora of options, things to collect and gives some nice creepy vibes. I love all the different collectables, options, clues etc. It all makes you try to remember what to use, for whom, at the right time etc. Mysterious and clever. Like most games I tend to gravitate to, it's a very dark, narrative-driven game.
Overall, I'm really re-enjoying the retro art style, the mysterious story, and dang, that synth-wave/outrun music is rockin'!
