Do Killjoys ever kill?
praqoon5 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The Killjoy mantra is "The warrant is all". Meaning that nothing gets in the way of finishing the job. Or at least that's how it should be. However, it isn't.

I've watched the first season up to this episode and so far Dutch and her team have done everything BUT honour the warrant and/or complete the mission. At every stage they've found some moral reason or ethical excuse to do their own thing and discard the parameters of their missions. This eposide is more of the same with a highly decorated RAC operative going rogue and obtaining some black ops device that the company doesn't want anyone to get their hands on. Well, it's wearing thin with me because the RAC bounty hunters are performing more like social workers for "the greater good", whatever that is in the grand scheme of things. If I wanted to see this level of empathy and compassion I'd go watch Star Trek or some other honourably virtuous and noble sci-fi mish-mash.

I'll give the rest of this first season the benefit of the doubt and watch it, BUT... if nothing changes during the remaining episodes then this will be the only season of Killjoys I'll be wasting my time with. 5/10 for this episode because it's the same shenanigans as what I've already seen up until now but in a different location with a few new characters. Nothing new or notable to mention.
