Marvellous, my lady

As one could no doubt figure out by one's self in these awful times in which we are living with the threat of nuclear war lying in illusion behind our shoulders waiting for some more attention of the media so it can get more popular by the attention it gets, likewise it could be stated that the bullies of us all, as in the poor victim in this marvellous short, will sooner or later all get what is coming for them, and not a single tear shall be shed for them as the world will be too busy with their own 'custard' (nicely used as an original metaphor in this picture)... Great performances, short as they might be.

This Was Disgusting In a Good Way!

Warning: Spoilers
So our main character is a teenage girl named Louise. Louise has a problem and that is severe acne. That alone is enough for people to make her life hell. The kids at her school and her sister at home are bullying her in a very harsh way. At some point Louise decides that she had enough of that and she wishes for her acne to go away and her wish comes true. But this comes with consequences and that is that her bedroom's wall now is covered with huge pimples full of pus. After that Louise is doing her best to clean the walls using bowls to put the pus in. The funniest moment comes at the end where Louise's sister Jennifer takes one of the bowls and starts eating thinking it is custard, i really enjoyed this scene, hilarious. Also i like how the whole film is told by a man making the whole story similar to a fairytale. I loved everything about this short film, the message about bullying, how dumb are the people who judge someone based on appearance, the cinematography, the performances, the humour. Very solid short, my rating is 8.5/10.

a relative solution

Warning: Spoilers
After its final credits, the involuntary revenge from the last scenes is the best part remaining in memory ( sure, the stomach of viewer is involved in this ).

It is a nice short film because you recognize almost all as more than familiar. The acnee of critic age, the forms of rude bullying, the remarks of beautiful sister, the desire to solve this delicate problem.

The solution is just surrealist and easy to be interpreted in many ways.

But it is the reflection of very simple reality , nice in fair presentation, bitter in its final .

So, the inner teenager from viewer can be just grateful to director for this short film. The motives are obvious after you see it.
