Best Episode This Season

Warning: Spoilers
When we were first introduced with this new character, I have to say that I was skeptical, To say the least, But in the three seasons that I have watched this show, I have never been so sad to see a character leave, To be honest it took me a while to get used to Sherlock's brother, And I didn't care too much when he left, But in this case, Kitty was a crucial part of Sherlock's life, The ending of the episode made me wonder, If Kitty was the reason Sherlock stopped using, Could her leaving be a trigger for him to start using again?

This episode was by far the best episode we have watched in a long time, I can only speculate on what they plan to do as a season finale, Is there a possibility that Moriarty can come back? She did say she didn't intend on staying in jail for long, I hope that she does, I love watching Natalie Dormer portray Moriarty. There is also the possibility that Sherlock might relapse. Whatever the case, One thing is for sure, It's going to be one hell of a season finale!

Best episode of Elementary so far ...

I can't stop thinking about this episode and the relationship of Holmes and Kitty Winter. Elementary has brought such an awesome edge to the Sherlock Holmes stories and have handled such mature themes as Kitty's rape and torture with so much class. You can feel all the pain Kitty has gone through along with Holmes deep wounds these two were perfect for each other. Holmes being a much needed mentor and Kitty as someone who needed a caring father figure for all she's gone through. Holmes and Watson have always had a different relationship where they work great together in solving mysteries and crimes and Watson can handle Holmes eccentric behaviors and keep him in check. Sherlock and Kitty were great for each other in that they share similar dark pasts and without speaking about it really show how much they each mean to each other. What a great dynamic! I can't wait to see what is in store in the future for all the characters for Elementary, and the flash back stories are awesome as well. Here's an episode idea ... A whole flashback episode with just Sherlock and Kitty in London taking on one of Kitty's first cases. I'm glad I DVR this series so I can watch this over again!

JLM's Finest

Warning: Spoilers
This ep. Brought some tears to the old eyes; Sherlock and Kitty's parting moments were pitch perfect to the nature of the episode, and sealed the depth of the characters the actors/writers have created.

Best one so far, as I plow through these seasons....4 more to go, woohoo!

Thank goodness that story line is over!

Kitty has been a singularly annoying character.

For some reason, so many shows are too busy cramming in drama to bother remembering that they're supposed to be about solving crimes. Elementary is supposed to be about interesting crimes that only someone as truly gifted and observant as Sherlock could solve. Instead we've been treated to whiny, runny-nosed, tear fests.

If the show doesn't get a hell of a lot better, I'm dropping it.

Another bad example

Warning: Spoilers
Lucy Liu and all the other actors/characters are great and the writers do show a great deal of smartness, which makes it even more startling that they miss one thing: In a time, where media all over the world is advertising and praising themselves for being less hateful, discriminating or even racist, for being inclusive and treating individuals as just that instead of delivering hateful (and hate-born) cliches, it is appalling that in almost every episode there is a (mostly somehow evil) character with a German (sounding) name (or as writers believe it to be). And even more surprising: while they are so smart to conceive clever storylines, they do not realize that by (insanely) overly portraying/presenting people with German roots as villains, which is not nearly justified compared to the percentage of murderers etc.in Germany (or the entire world) (and don't come with history or your lack of a sane perception of reality is clearly proven since what happened a long time ago has nothing to do with what is true and justified and advised today and people who are completely declining and denying (today's) reality should go get some therapy but not make movies), but getting back: since there is no basis for arguing that there are so many German perverts (in Germany/anywhere else), this hypothesis leaves one causal factor, and that is that America turns people into perverts with their love for hate and violence and ongoing discrimination. Sorry, but this is your hypothesis you are (wrongly) propagating when giving so many villains in your crime shows German/European names. The smart writers clearly miss this point, so realize it and change it, it just shows one more time, that hate and ostracism and the permanent wish for enemy stereotypes gets us all nowhere. Just don't anymore. It's overcome, it's wrong, it's not helping - nobody. Yes to treating everybody equal and as individuals, no to the still ongoing disharmony and hate that gets us nowhere.
