- Throughout the game many characters - both protagonists and non-player characters - can die or be wounded in brutal ways. The game includes mature content like war violence, sexual assault, starvation and suicide.

- Many uses of f**k, s**t, and a few instances of the word c**t appearing in enemy dialogue.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- Some of the playable characters are smokers and their mood will drecrease faster if deprived of cigarettes (the same happens in the game with strong caffeine consumers). The game also gives the opportunity to produce, sell and consume alcohol.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The game is about civilians trying to survive in a war zone. There are many emotional and distressing situations that can arise during a playthrough, including potential deaths (both protagonists and non-player characters), depression, suicide, starvation, theft. The player can also perform some morally reprehensible actions himself, although this is never mandatory and will actually impact the characters' mood negatively.

Sex & Nudity
- A young woman is attacked by a soldier who intends to rape her (no nudity but the scene is intense as the man's intentions are made clear). The player is given the chance to confront the armed man and stop the assault.
