Just Meh. I didn't like this episode, it was just an okay. I don't like when they start with one plot then drop it over new one.

An excellent example of FG's latter day greatness.

One of my very favourite episodes. I love how FG titles some of its episodes after the intro story, leaving you no idea what you're getting.
A very narrative driven episode with minimal asides and cutaways. it's a familiar idea but like a lot of FG's stuff, they are audacious enough to make it the main focus of an episode when other shows would use it as a throw away gag.
Grotesquely amusing as usual, we actually go to a pretty unsettling place with some very real character development but it thankfully doesn't get too heavy and ultimately makes the dark humour feel more fresh as well as making a better story overall.
It delightfully sends up the vintage sitcom vision of relationships and the schmaltzy resolve and is testimony to how FG brings the artistry to low brow humour.

The writing staff has gotten far too lazy... fire them

It seems like there's a pattern forming with family guy: the episode quality is plummeting as the series goes on. Sure, this may seem like many other shows, but i've never seen a show take a dive this fast in so short of time before. Things started going bad in season 9, but they were still pretty good, and it simply seemed like a normal downturn; but lately between season 12 and 13 mostly, everything has plummeted in quality. In fact the new simpsons episodes are better than this crap, and I'm pretty sure anyone could write better material. It's as if the old writing staff got replaced with a much lazier version that wants to see family guy off the air. Whoever is in charge, FIRE YOUR LAZY GOOD FOR NOTHING WRITING STAFF and hire people who actually enjoy writing funny material. Otherwise, i really hope family guy doesn't have another season.
