I discovered Motive only a few weeks ago and I'm enjoying watching the episodes, having started a few episodes into season two. Anyway, here season three wraps up the season-arch of the fate of Neville Montgomery (played by Victor "Titanic" Garber) and it turns out he was the father of Maria Snow (played by Luisa d'Oliveira) through a horrendous crime that was covered up by Deputy Chief Halford (Jeffrey Nordling) who was part of the cover-up of the original sin 25 years before. Also Detective Vega heads off to surgery, but thankfully he gets quite a warm hug from Dr Rogers to cheer him up. Anyway, I'm kicking myself and am in a foul mood (not that I feel like Job from the Bible) because I accidentally deleted episode one of season four. Also for some reason, Sergeant Mark Cross makes only one more appearance in season four.
