Growing up to be a heroine
Prismark1014 February 2016
Zapper Woman is an ultra low budget short for film-maker Vinnie Langdon. It is a fantasy of a little girl who always dreamt about being a super heroine and when she grows up she and her partner set about to do just that.

The catalyst being that their city, The Ville is being menaced by three dangerous robbers so Zapper Woman and her sidekick decide to hunt them down.

As short film goes this has a minute budget, quickly made but has been entered into film festivals. The acting is amateurish which is a let down but Langdon has managed to get several people together for crowd scenes and in an age where superhero films rule the roost, he making a point that there should be space for super heroines.
