Adios y Bienvenidos man oh man.

Warning: Spoilers
(FULL EPISODE SUMMARY BELOW, HEAVY SPOILERS TO SAY THE LEAST)

This episode is very disappointing to say the least after a very below par last season sticking to past jokes and humor with nothing mind blowing this episode isn't a shock per-Se but it starts of very promising with actual football talk (!!!)

The episode starts with football chatter, then Ruxin gets a text saying that Sofia died very abruptly in the first minute, it is pretty left field out of nowhere but the scenes that follow we see everyone comforting him in their kind of ways, then come to the conclusion that this might be a hoax for Ruxin's very bad season in Fantasy football to get sympathy trades and places (including an odd scene where Ruxin looks for the cheapest coffin because he couldn't get her body brought over). It also features Rafi being himself and really if you know him you love him or hate him. So in my opinion the first 5 minutes are very good and I would say close to the best of the entire season. It then proceeds to go on a train wreck into no return.

It turns out that no, Sofia did actually die going for plastic surgery and it jumpcuts to the funeral, and that Kevin who was giving a trade to Ruxin cancels (through a text) it during his eulogy of his deceased wife's funeral, which Rafi cuts off to talk about how he retrieved the body.

The episode then goes fully animated ...because why? It becomes apparent that the animation came in to basically allow Rafi and Dirty Randy have an insane adventure to Puerto Rico (because it's not a US Territory or so they think). Everything is just an insane trip to 11 and really doesn't serve a purpose to what happened earlier and is pretty forgettable and is a mess of hopeful jokes that really fall flat including the fact apparently Rafi used to molest his sister and this is the plot reason to why Sofia's body wasn't brought over because her father detested his son Rafi.

This episode is a fantastic reason to why this show's last season is a joke and very disappointing, there are some pretty good parts of episodes there but they are cast away for some toilet humor at best because that's what made the show good apparently, which it did but at moderation. This episode has a promising start and is basically stomped on with every expletive possible, even with the death of a fairly big character in the show it is made in terrible taste and ultimately feels like a slap in the face to any fan. And just to think there are 2 more episodes after this one.

Don't watch this, seriously don't. If you are a fan of just balls to the walls humor of stuff making no sense and happening for no reason I guess its a good trip but as the third last episode in the series with a fairly important death of a character treated almost like a (is this true or not) is kind of laughable.

Utterly awful

The League was one of my favorite shows when it first aired, and for the most part, it still holds up. The main problem is that the quality of writing drops fairly dramatically towards the end, with the entire last season being mostly devoid of laughs. This episode is the worst of them all, by a mile.

While I do love the character of Rafi, as the seasons went on, he became increasingly more cartoonish. I suppose it was fitting then that an entire Rafi and Dirty Randy episode would be animated. Too bad the episode is completely lazy and unfunny.

I can't be bothered to sit through this garbage and because of that, I disagree with the other reviewers who claim this episode has any redeeming qualities. It's far easier to skip this one entirely than it is to watch the opening and closing bits, which aren't even funny enough to get a laugh out of me. In the previous episode, Pete makes a quip about the fictional show 'The Block,' asking "If it's so good, then why is it ending after 7 seasons?" Well the answer is season 7 and this episode right here. The show's concept and its characters have been thoroughly milked for all of their worth. There's nowhere left to go creatively with it.

As if to add insult to injury, the character of Sophia is treated with complete disrespect. This is a show known for being juvenile, irreverent, and crass, but in this case the sentiment is taken way too far and it's not even remotely funny. Somehow the writing has devolved so much that it begins to make you question whether the writers truly understood what made it popular in the first place. Most of season 7 feels like the show is ****ing on itself and its viewers, but this is the worst offender.

I don't remember ever disliking the show at any particular point, though I do remember disliking this episode. The funny thing is, I don't remember ANY of the animated part, which is basically the whole thing. Having rewatched the entire series now, I would skip season 7 completely, as there are only a couple good jokes throughout the whole thing. Even if you decide to sit through season 7 for whatever reason, you're going to want to skip this episode since it is exceptionally bad.

Trash

I'll start by saying I love this show. Love it. I got to this episode and completely hated it. Rafi and Dirty Randy are awesome characters, this sullied their image. I've never written a review on here, it was so bad I created an account just to do so. The whole episode just felt like it didn't belong. Episode 10 was good and they got back on track with 12 but this episode (11) should be banned by the UN as a form of inhumane torture.

Terrible beyond belief

Warning: Spoilers
This was by far the worst episode ever made in the TV industry. The last season really is a joke and nothing else. The only good part about it was the brief football talk and that's why I gave it a 2 star rating. Half of the episode was just Rafi's animated trip to recover his dead sister, which was so tragic (the animation and the speech)that I had to look away. Other than that, there is nothing else to say. To all those who haven't yet watched it, I sincerely recommend to save 20 minutes of your life and don't get involved. Watching flies fornicate would be considered a much more fun way to kill time. A painfully awful way to destroy an almost dead show!

Dirty Randy and Raffi rule!

Am I the only one who doesn't like Dirty Randy and Raffi? I honestly think they could have their own show. If you've watched The League up to this point, you should understand the stupid humour that is endearing about this show, and Randy and Raffi exemplify this direction. I love the bottle episodes with these two characters and, if anything, I would have loved to have seen more of them.

A marvel of bad taste
cherold1 May 2016
I totally get hating this episode. It's one of these weird Raffi & Dirty Randy episodes, it's half animation, and it has little to do with the actual nature of the series.

And yet, I laughed a fair amount. It was just soooooo extreme. Death and grief are played for cheap laughs, and the non-animated parts continue the theme of people who are so awful and petty and selfish that no tragedy can keep them from their worst instincts.

The animated part is, certainly utterly ludicrous, and I really shouldn't like it, but the animation meant it could be even more over the top than usual, and all the crazy stuff with bees and corpses just amused me.
