10/10 because of the directing, editing and cinematography. Making so much out of the landscape of the small town that Hvolsvöllur is! The directing scene in Iceland is super tough but Heimir has shovelled his way through and made a great first piece and is bound to make many more!
Really excited to see what he comes up with next and I know it'll be even better. Exciting times ahead for Icelandic cinema.
Lastly want to mention how natural his film flows, really great pacing and it felt like being carried by a river. You're not sure how you're oriented at times in the story but it all straightens out in the end "so to speak".
