A documentary of two men, Red Dog and Bates who walked from Los Angeles to Mexico City and their adventures along the way! the documentary is long in the making. As most films have their beginning in reality so does Red Dog and Bates! Xochi Blymyer has written this story and taken several years to bring it to fruition. A small crew banded together to enter Mexico and follow the trail of Red Dog and Bates as they walked through Mexico. For those of us that make a living in this business called show business know it is not easy to get people to believe in your story without paying big money for crews, lodging, props, food, travel etc.Because we believe in Xochi and the fact that she has proved herself over years of hard work and devotion to her craft she was able to spend a month following the trail of Red dog and Bates. She was able to put her crew together and as small as they were they stuck through the grueling shoot until the end. I can hardly wait to see the finished product!
