I feel like they jumped into the concept of Hendy and April dating way too quickly when we did not see much to indicate that was a possiblity, but the misinterpreting of the events was definitely good comedy.

The disagreement over crime in Australia vs. The US was good, but I liked the violent ending given how he mocked the idea of his old partner being in a vegetatitve state.

This show is both unique and very simplistic in its style, but it is an easy program to watch. I wish we had more shows like this in the states beyond the US remake that they had done on Paramount+ for a couple of seasons.

The Date
Prismark1023 October 2023
It is clear now that Glen and Jimmy are inside the containers in the docks and involved in their own childish banter and pranks.

They talk about sexual positions and Glen does not seem to know most of the ones Jimmy talks about.

Glen wants to go to America because the criminals over there are more aspirational.

Meanwhile Hendy and Stokes do not get out of the car and walk about the docks. Hoping the criminals might run into them. Although the security guard Jacob does call them on the radio when he hears some noises.

The best part of the episode was Hendy and April's differing accounts of their date. April thought it was a disaster but Hendy tells Stokes that it went great.

It was just difficult to buy that both these characters went on a date when we see people basically sat in their workplace.

The episode ended with a violent conclusion.

I do think that the show has found its rhythm but it is certainly an acquired taste.
