Tied Up With a Bow

Warning: Spoilers
Will he quit? Will he go? Will she quit? Will she go? Pelant is dead. Pelant is alive! But he isn't Pelant. No, he is Pelant. Gobbledy, Gobbledy, Goopety Goop! One more case. Just one more. Then we'll leave/quit/cry/whatever. We're back to the super computer brains. Once again there is a murder. A guy has been skinned and placed on an obelisk. It's similar to the work of Pelant. He threatens to return from the dead. Seely realizes there is more to life than chasing criminals. This top secret facility is inhabited by the brains of the century. So one day they decide to leave. A week goes by. Off they go. Brennan quits. Leaves the next day. Booth finishes the case and he is off to the races. Tiresome episode. Endless!

As my friends can attest, I love cake

Warning: Spoilers
No surprise, the TV show Bones had another great season finale! It definitely felt like they were wrapping it up for a series finale, but I'm glad that I still have two seasons of Bones to watch.

Aubrey is such a great character. I hate that we had to lose Sweets to have him but I think he is just so caring towards Booth and Bones and I really enjoyed watching that play out throughout this episode.

We also got to see Caroline and how much she truly loves Booth. The relationship is so special and I love her entire character.

I am happy that Hodgins and Angela arent leaving but I am a little sad for their characters. We have seen Angela want to leave this job dating back to season 1 so it's a little sad to know that she's still at the Jeffersonian. I mean she and Hodgins are happy so I guess it's okay but I just wish that Angela can go have that adventure in Paris she always wanted. It also sucks that Palent and his shenanigans is low key the reason they are staying.

I think it's really funny that Booth said "there are a lot of good agents here, a lot better than me." Oh, I'm sorry, Booth, I didn't realize that there are other agents with a higher than 100% solve rate for cases? Seems a bit unlikely, but sure yeah a bet there are a ton of agents better than you (*heavy sarcasm*)

Best part: I really liked watching Wendall, Daisy, and Clark work togehter. We rarely get to see the interns (and Clark) interact with one another and I think that it's nice when we get to see the relationships they have.

Worst part: Brennan and Booth leaving the Jeffersonian and FBI (considering there are 2 more seasons I have a feeling that changes but I guess we will have to wait and see)

Seriously???
olcia-322171 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I really like Bones. It's a series of my child hood. It has some good an bad episodes as every TV show. But seriously? What the hell?! Temperance is so up her own butt that she decides to leave without even one word to her supervisor/ friend??? Her own boss only found out about it when she was telling that to Angela. She leaves the whole Jeffersonian without a forensic anthropologist. At least Angela and Hodgins had the decency to tell Camille about their plans. As usual Bones it the most important person of the series and because of her Jack and Angie change their plans not leave Jeffersonian. Don't we remember what happened to everyone when Bones, Booth, Angie and Jack left couple of seasons ago?

How many times can you leave
4nne1 November 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The big question is how many times you can decide to leave, or even say goodbye, only to come back again? An ending that for me has been used a little too often in this series. With more than one character.

And yes, as other say, very short notice. Apparently both booth and bones have no notice period, maybe that is normal in the US? Let me put it this way, if you would suddenly leave your employer like that here were I live, you really don't have to come back, and there's a good chance that you don't have to approach other companies in the same field either.

It's a shame all the substories are becoming a distraction from the.show itself.

Stop Delaying - Just Go Away
PartialMovieViewer22 August 2015
Warning: Spoilers
This show is on life support and just barely...it needs to end. In the beginning it was one of the great shows, at least in my humble opinion. I loved it. Sadly this mess is now just some plain irritating grind. It is nice, to see some of the older supporting cast to occasionally pop in and out of scenes - its just not enough to keep 'Bones' alive. I can't really put my finger on the moment, 'Bones' first went south (I guess that would be identifying that 'jump the shark' moment - or whatever). But whenever that first hole was dug and the cast jumped into the void - a thick amount of dirt was then piled on top. That thick soil covering was so thick, allowed for no wiggle room, thereby rendering a season redo impossible. I also sense Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz are over the entire, 'Bones' experience. They seem to be aware it is time to move on...but apparently that wisdom is not shared. Micheala Conlin and T.J. Thyne we're going and now they are not...huh? I don't get it. The 'B-Team' is just way too weak to step up and drive this sinking boat. Topped with weekly scripts that are overly preachy and obviously politically charged, these second-stringers don't really have a product to deliver in the first place. The sidekicks seem to be a moderately talented group, but something has encouraged huge egos to flourish - exponentially morphing some nice characters into pretty unlikeable people. Renaming the series might be an idea, but these folks need some adjusting. Tone down the individual hubris maybe. It's a given, none of these actors can replace Booth or Bones and they shouldn't. The only character strong enough and likable enough - maybe to carry it off and capable of applying badly needed defibrillator paddles to this program was good ole Sweets. Too bad he was killed off, one big hole that should have never had dirt piled on it. Getting rid of this likable persona aided in rendering show-resuscitation impossible - ah well. I will miss this show for what it was, but definitely not for what it became. What a fantastic ride...good luck to all

Is cleverness an excuse to act unprofessional ?

Warning: Spoilers
I was never a fan of BONES but i ended up working as a dubbing script translator for this show in the last 2 seasons and I felt like I was tortured by ED's character. Why does she have to talk like that ? I understand that she has some kind of a mental problem but it's just so annoying to put the words into her weird talking LOL.

Now the finale of S10. I think Bones is very selfish to leave Jeffersonian in such a hurry. Especially when H and M are already decided to move to Paris. This definitely has a huge impact on Bones decision when she talk to Booth about quitting her job.

And then pff, she's gone with all smiles from everyone, leaving H and M unable to move to Paris as they planed to. I think one of the reason M canceled the plan was not only because how she saw H working with his toy. I think M would still move to Paris If Bones has never wanted to leave. That with all the annoying behaviors I had to put up with her just make me want to smack her acting smart face when she told Cam that she prefer to call her quitting as a discovery of new great scientific achievement. If I was Cam, I would blow her with some of the victim's bones.
