Misleading Attempt at Westernizing Middle Eastern Society
OsamaSarm14 February 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I don't usually review comedies, as comedies for me either work or doesn't depending on the likeliness of the actors and if you're in a good mood or not, but i have a special distaste for this movie as it tried to paint a misleading picture of reality. The misleading picture being the overly westernized setup of the movie, that's the bars, the casual drinking of alcohol, kissing and hugging between opposite genders, dancing Salsa in a bar somewhere in the middle east, really? the overly clean streets and the overall western life that never exist in a middle eastern society. they even text each-other in English, never played an Arabic song in a club or a party (Unless the song was by Tamer Hosny), and it was so misleading that it was borderline offensive. Movie production was okay, but again the setup was unrealistic, with actors faces overly saturated with makeup, fancy clothes, fancy cars, and the plot was excruciatingly shallow and stupid, watching Tamer honsy attempts to sleep with Ghada Adel for two hours was too boring and predictable. but i guess it make sense for drooling teenage fans of Tamer who would laugh at every attempted joke but for actual movie fans, this is terrible.

Is the Movie Over Yet?
ihgomaa-724-69394523 June 2016
Can be summed up as First World Problems: The Movie. How is Tamer Hosny still famous? Though I liked Ghada Adel, the movie overall was extremely cheesy and predictable. At many times it was cringe worthy. The movie was also way too vulgar for my taste. All about trying to get in bed with a woman, drinking together, and living the party life together. Yet, where was the dilemma in this movie? It was hard to sympathize with the characters when they have perfect lives filled with first world problems. The movie was though to sit through and it's a shame how downhill Egyptian cinema is has gone since the revolution started.

OVER, too much.

Warning: Spoilers
The jokes in the movie were funny. Lets leave aside their over revealing cloths and their wealthy/rich life with their big houses and fancy cars.

But the lifestyle the actors they live in is too MUCH. Always drinking alcohol, weed, bars and clubs. Too much for arabs/muslims culture. And a man go away with another women who is divorced and they stay alone in a house?!??

She get stoned with him, they hang out in all bars, stay over night with each other dance and all. And the moment hr propose to her she gets mad?!?? Too much.

I think the movie is over rated and not worth the time. It soo western.
