Boy Oh Boy!

Two Young Men, UT (2009) I was actually quite in to this film, I liked the will they/won't they as their relationship begins to develop and then WHAM! It's over! It had the beginnings of something good, with two very cute guys, but now I'm just left hanging, wondering what happened next? I appreciate it's a short film, but it doesn't have to be just a longer one cut off before it starts.

There wasn't enough other content to make it worthwhile really.

And why are "Straight" guys such cock teases! It's a form of bullying I think.

Sweat (2008) Considering the subject matter of this one, it could have been really trampy and shown the seedier side of steam rooms, but it was actually quite sweet.

I wish guys like this went to my local spa!!! I would love to meet David Paisley one day! What a fitty, I remember him being really cute in 'Tinsel Town' and now he's a big beary fella, yum.

I hope he made that call.

Blokes (2010) Sadly my sexy neighbour has put up a fence so I don't get to see as much of him as I'd like to anymore and alas I could never see in to his room anyway. If I could, then maybe this film would have been about me, though perhaps not in such extreme and dangerous circumstances. There was a lot to tell here and maybe it wasn't all clear.

Last Call (2009) Mark is like what? 12? It almost felt a bit paedophilic. Was it deliberate to have such a young actor or was it just bad casting.

If it wasn't for that it would have been quite a cute story, but it was really hard to see passed it. To start with I thought it was a flashback to their school years and he was just playing the younger version, but there he was again and again.

Someone should remake this longer and better and with adults! I could really enjoy that, because the concept of reliving three memories when you die and exploring what went wrong in your life is good.

Far West (2003) It could have done without the comic relief and there's a lot going on without anything really happening.

It's another one that could have made a good feature length film. I'd like to explore their histories and what lead them to this point and what the results are following these discoveries. I don't know why you would make this a short film when there is obviously so much more to it than what fits in to 20 minutes.

I do wonder if Jean-Didier could come and help me with my garden though, what a great bottom!?

Also, I wouldn't give any of them work as dancers!

James (2008) It's a shame that Niall Wright didn't have the support of a decent cast to rival his own acting abilities.

Poor little James and his sad little face. Bless his cotton socks, I just wanted to mother him, take him under my wing and tell him that it would all be alright.

I think that it's a shame that even now there needs to be more support for kids like James so they don't end up experiencing things in such a hard and potentially dangerous way. It has similarities to one of the story arcs in Clapham Junction (2007).

561.05/1000.

David (2005) David himself is quite cute, if a bit young, but his little laugh is just creepy, but not as creepy as Jose. Another one that's a bit Paedophilic. You almost feel that Jose is taking advantage of David, because his mute behaviour makes him seem "special"and as we don't get to see everything that's written on his pad, it's not clear what either of their motives are. Why does he want this older guy that he's just met and why does Jose want this child? I suppose it is romantic in its way, but it's not entirely clear.

Candy Boy (2007) I just don't get Anime! It's weird, so exaggerated and over the top. It's actually an artistic style that should work really well and could be beautiful if it wasn't so ridiculous.

And that psychedelic kiss was so odd and extreme! Where did it even come from?

The story itself had merit, but was in the wrong hands as far as I'm concerned.

It's also really strange to see anime in French.

Go Go Reject (2010)

Sexy is an attitude and Go Go boys SHOULD be able to dance!!

It's a shame when you watch a film about a guy who hasn't got enough muscle and the people he is supposed to be turning in to only weigh about 2 pounds more than him.

I personally think that his dancing was a bit too much at times, but he was cute though and good on him for following his heart. Definitely one from the 'Eating Out' style of filming in its way, but a nice little story.
